5.0 out of 5 stars taking your mind off forever, September 17, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Tribute to UB 40 (Audio CD)
The old sunny concert of old folks, one of the few I keep in my pocket for several years. It's hard to know for sure it would fit youngsters, while if you feel like getting adult, content and thouthfull just try it. The verses are exellent in their simplicity without falling in stupidity so up for rappers. The slang is soft and makes a good mix of Oxford English and Jamaika bla-bla. I just have to warn you. UB-40 is totally different from the wave. At the first instance you could feel uneasy need in listening to the music and getting through the text. It may cause you to think.
