MODERN ROMANCE IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE GROUPS. THEIR RECORDS GOT PLENTY OF RADIO PLAY IN CHICAGO (WBMX & WGCI) IN THE EARLY TO MID 1980'S. MODERN ROMANCE ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR GREAT RARE UNDERGROUND DISCO-HI-NRG CLASSICS. HITS LIKE "CAN U MOVE","EVERBODY SALSA", "MOOSE ON THE LOOSE",AND MANY MORE CLUB HITS. MODERN ROMANCE BRINGS BACK GREAT MEMORIES. I CAN STILL REMEMBER THE CROWD GOING CRAZY WHEN THE DJ DROPPED "CAN U MOVE & EVERYBODY SALSA BACK TO BACK". WHAT A GREAT YEAR 1984 WAS FOR HI-NRG AND DISCO MUSIC!

Well after listening to Trick of the Light, I can see why all the fuss was
made over Modern Romance in the 80's. What a great album - I managed to find
a copy on vinyl at my local charity shop. but I've come into things
backwards, cause my first experience of Modern Romance was when I recently
got a promotional copy of their new album, "Moves 2 Fast". It's got
re-recorded versions of all the hits, plus some new songs. Try it out. If you
loved Trick of The Light, you'll love this one, too.

This is the second album after their first album " Adventures in clubland " . This album contains the hits like " High life " and " Walking in the rain " . Especially " Walking in the rain " is the major hit in Thailand at that time. For Salsa lover , this is one of the best album that you should have.
