Author Jared Winchester has spent the last year researching the Glanovsky serial killer, and now he leaves behind frigid Russia for frigid Chicago. He has not had a serious relationship because most women cannot handle his career writing about horrific crime. Certainly no one has ever understood his fascination for the macabre. This weekend, however, Jared looks forward to his cousin Mick's murder weekend Halloween party to be held in his hometown at The Marsden Place. He assumes the identity of Miles Stone, a James Bond type stalking an international arms dealer. Although she and her aunt had not planned to open The Marsden Place until after the New Year, its reputation leads them to open it for Halloween weekend. Nearly every room is booked, including space reserved by the local real estate agent Mick. Aunt Hildy capitalizes on her gangster past to add atmosphere to the place. Indeed, Aunt Hildy insists that the place is haunted and that she talks to ghosts. So when Jared arrives in character, he assumes that Gwen is simply a part of his cousin's event. And when her aunt whacks him over the head with a stalking full of pennies, amnesia lends its own remarkable twist to the weekend's events. Author Leslie Kelly's talent for penning tantalizing, sensual romance sparkles in TRICK ME, TREAT ME. The tricks are delightful and the treats are sinful when Jared and Gwen cross paths in this installment of The Wrong Bed series. In keeping with the Halloween theme, ghosts and a haunted house lend the novel a supernatural element, but there is nothing ghoulish in this Halloween treat. The scintillating heat between Jared and Gwen clearly reveals why Kelly has established herself as one of Harlequin reader's favorite authors. A fun treat suitable for any time of year, TRICK ME, TREAT ME comes very highly recommended.

Trick Me Treat Me is a wonderful, romantic, Halloween story. Jared Winchester is finally home after being away for over a year researching his next true crime novel. Jared receives an invite to a Halloween party and to go as secret agent Miles Stone. He doesn't realize the invite was from the previous Halloween. Gwen Compton has finally gotten her Bed and Breakfast ready to open. Now she is ready to take a walk on the wild side. She finds secret agent Miles Stone in her kitchen. Their attraction is instantaneous. But Gwen's aunt knocks out Jared and he then really believes he is the secret agent. Jared's adventures as Miles are hysterical and Gwen is along for the ride. Throw in some timely ghost and sizzling chemistry between Jared and Gwen, you have a keep of a book.

I laughed so often while reading this book, my husband started making cracks about how I laughed out loud more with one book than I had in a month. I've read a bunch of Leslie Kelly's books, and enjoyed them, but this was the first one so outrageously funny that I just had to write a review. Read it. You'll giggle.

I couldn't believe how fast I went through this book. Trick Me, Treat Me has all the things I love about romance books. The story has a wonderful bit of twist, the characters are lively and there are scenes so hilarious that my tummy cramped. Leslie Kelly is one of my ultimate favorites and this book is another hot (I mean HOT!)example of why I love to read her books.

I found that overall this book was rather enjoyable. The story was a little lacking, but the author definitely made up for it in the hot and steamy sex scenes.I felt the ending was a litte rushed. But over all I trully enjoyed this book. Nice Romance, Great Sexual attraction and tenstion. I would reocommend this for those who like a little humor and intrique.

Leslie Kelly was suggested to me based on other books I read and I thought, why not? I read one of her books that is posted free to Kindle owners and was hooked after the first book. "Trick me treat me" is a descriptive book that allows you to get caught up in the romance of the story. Leslie Kelly has become one of my new favorite author's. You won't be disappointed by this book!
