Great album compliments a great movie!, November 30, 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Trick: Music From The Motion Picture (Audio CD)
I loved the movie so much, I knew the album would be loads of fun. This upbeat dance compilation will keep you entertained from beginning to end. The tracks, "Unspeakable Joy", "I am Woman" and "Dreamweaver" more than make up for the annoying tap-dance sounds found in Tori Spelling's rendition of "Enter You". Be forwarned, the album contains a few sound bytes from the movie which you may not fully appreciate unless you have treated yourself to watching this uniquely-themed gay film. I HIGHLY recommend purchasing both the film and this album. You will not be disappointed!

Mindblowing, Club-Anthem Soundtrack to Own, July 12, 2000
This review is from: Trick: Music From The Motion Picture (Audio CD)
Incorporating all the musical styles found in New York's nightlife, the soundtrack to the film "Trick" is probably one of the best soundtracks I have listened in years. The highlights on this soundtrack have to be "Brand New Lover" by Bibiche and "Someone To Hold," by Veronica. Both songs, especially "Someone to Hold" will make you feel that you are partying in New York's club circuit, and although it is close to 12 minutes long, Veronica truly has set her as a rising club music diva!
It was especially interesting to hear Tori Spelling belting "Enter You". While she is not the greatest singer, she truly has shown that she does possess talent for a comical musical performance such as this. Steve Hayes rendition of "Como te Gusta mi Pinga?" was also wonderful.
If you need to get a good soundtrack that will keep you entertained for hours, this is it. Whether at home or during your daily commute, you will agree with me that this is one of the best soundtracks in recent years.

Best use of HOUSE music ever on a soundtrack, August 5, 1999

The Trick soundtrack has some of the best house music from the last year. The highlight is Kim English with "Unspeakable Joy". I think this is the first time this song has been available on a album. Also the mix of "Dreamweaver" by the Razor-N-Guido is excellent! There are several other great Dance songs by Junior Vasquez and such. There is also a song by Tori Spelling that is pretty funny. The whole thing makes for a great party album.
