While the TrickleStar PC TrickleSwitch works as advertised, there are several things to keep in mind.
First, the PC TrickleSwitch is an accessory to the TrickleStar PC Energy saver. If you don't have the PC EnergySaver, buy one when you buy the EnergySaver. Second, as TrickleStar says on its web site, the performance of PC EnergySaver depends on the design of your PC. In my case, I needed the manually operated TrickleSwitch to supplement the automatic EnergySaver to deal with the behavior of the bios in my PC. My PC would fail on boot until I used the TrickleSwitch to keep a USB drive off-line until after boot. I would buy the PC EnergySaver and TrickleSwitch products again.
