Nice for components, but does NOT save TV energy,

This may be nice if you have components that suck a lot of energy when on standby, but please note it does nothing for vampire TV's (like our DLP rear projection set which gulps 25 Watts all day/night long when it's not). The TV TrickleSaver is like an extension cable with two sockets, one dongle connects to the TV and when you turn it off, the electronics inside cuts the power to the other dongle (and whatever is plugged into it). Use a P3 International P4400 Kill A Watt Electricity Usage Monitor to find out what electronics in your home theater suck, and kill them with this.

Easy product to use and it saves money on your energy bill,

This product was a good purchase. I have been using it now for a month and have noticed a difference in the amount to watts being wasted by my entertainment center. And by saving watts each month on my energy meant for a reduction in the price of my energy bill. For the money invested this product will pay for itself quickly.
