4.0 out of 5 stars Book Made Sense To Me, November 3, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: The Tricknology of the Enemy (Paperback)
Having read various books by Elijah Muhammad, I found the previous reviewer's comment disturbing enough to buy this book. Since Elijah Muhammad's writings are far from shallow and deceptive, I tried to see if in fact the title was worth buying.

First of all, I didn't expect a tremendous amount of information from a book so small, but after reading it, I could understand that if one were expecting a total scientific breakdown of what 'Tricknoloy' is, then I could understand the dissapointment; however, the title states, 'Tricknology of The Enemy' and within the book it points out how the White man uses tricks to decieve the Black man and rob him of human rights. These tricks take the form of false promises, under which he rules the Black man. These false promises are expressed in every aspect of life which the white man controls of the Black man of America. Lastly, within the religion of Christianity, which is the sole source of tricks; because through it, the Black man and woman are thoroughly cut off from any salvation coming to him and this in turn makes him and his future generations willing slaves in the name of God. This helps us to understand why iron shackes are no longer needed. He is a mental slave to believing he can't see his God and the closest thing to God is a man that looks like his slave master. This tricknology has been perpetuated through black peoples all over the planet. I think the book made the point.

This review is from: The Tricknology of the Enemy (Paperback)
This book is rather weak and deceptive in that it the author does not develop any information on the subject matter. It is deceptive because the motive is clearly seen to be racial in nature. It not at all what the title suggests.
