These 'tricks' surprised me as most of them seemed to be things that most couples would have already tried without prompting. For those new to experimenting with pleasing a male partner, this book might be a boost to the imagination but for anyone who has a penis or who has been around one for more than a brief while, many of these tricks are tame stuff, indeed. Most of the hints about masturbation involve nothing more than hand movements other than "up and down, repeat" and the oral sex hints are along the lines of "let him watch" or "put a piece of chocolate in your mouth".

I did find one major irritant in this book. His advice to "ladies" on the subject of declining an offer included the words "Couch the refusal so as to make it clear the lack is in you rather than him". Perhaps the author and I have differing views on consent, but if I don't want to do something it does not necessarily mean there is a lack in me OR my partner - it just means I have no interest in a particular act. One can graciously refuse a gentleman's request without making either party feel "lacking", thankyouverymuch.

This is a great book! It gives some basic tips as well as some creative ideas to make him moan and beg you for more. Whether you want to take charge of the bedroom for awhile, initiate things for a change, or just be able to give him a better handjob - it is in there. I tried some of the tips already, and they met with very favorable results. *big grin* I look forward to "testing" more of them, as does my boyfriend. For those who haven't had much experience, or worry that he might be a little bored with the same-old-same-old (and don't know how to change that), this book is a treasure chest of ideas and information. Whether your man just isn't the type to try and tell you what to do OR doesn't know the possibilities out there, he will most likely be thrilled with many of the tricks Mr. Wiseman provides.

Jay has written a number of "tricks" books over the years and as he would say "they have taken on a life of their own." This book which if you read it cover to cover takes maybe an hour has 125 such tricks, with names like the "climbing the mountain" trick, "do the twist," "a fistful of fun," and "don't choke in the clutch." The book's tricks are divided into five main sections: basic tricks, manual tricks, oral tricks, enhanced tricks, and anal tricks. So depending on your mood, there's a variety here to choose from.

Not only this, there's also a section in the back filled with Jay's usual "advisories," and some helpful advice, like "building the perfect nightstand," and the best ways to keep toys clean.

Truly a fun-filled book that couples can refer to whenever they like to "spice things up."

I have enjoyed a number of Jay Wiseman books but have never read any of the trick books so this was quite an introduction. A little book with lots of bang for the buck!

The book is organized into five sections of tricks: basic, manual, oral, enhanced, and anal. This book is not limited to the simple trick but is full of suggestions to make your erotic encounters pleasant, enjoyable, and memorable.

This is a great reference book if you want to change your routine and spice up the evening or day. It really does have something for everyone including a segment on 'lap dancing'. So far, my favorite trick is 'climbing the mountain'.

Everything in this book is easy to understand and incorporate. So try something new.

Jay Wiseman is a smart fellow. In the introduction he's got a section titled "The Limitation of Tricks" in which he mentions both that

1.) It is entirely possible to have awsome sex without any tricks.
2.) It is entirely possible to master all these tricks, but still have awful sex.

in short: Don't let tricks get in the way of paying attention to your lover.

So don't come looking for some pancea to fix a broken sex-life, but rather a few ideas to help "make good sex better" then you may find exactly what you're looking for.

Nothing in the world is new. Alot of the ideas in here I've found in other places, but really for the price, even 3 or 4 new discoveries would have made my day. Many of his tricks are subtle. (not holding back on vocalizing being a simple example that helped our love life dramaticly. not faking, but just not restraining myself) Others are a bit more involved (various substances to be aquired beforehand etc)

Either way, by introducing a few of these at a time, we've enjoyed ourselves all the more.

I was a bit disappointed in this book. This writer has the ability to produce much better work. This was just a bit like a coconut meringue pie without the coconut. I wouldn't recommend this book.

There really isn't anything special or unique about this book. I hate to say that I didn't like it because I really like Jay Wiseman's SM101.

My low score is strictly due to the problems with formatting for the Kindle edition. It's essentially unreadable on the Kindle - each tip is in a microscopic font that can not be enlarged. You really need a magnifying glass to read the print.
