May not be worth the money.,

This review is from: Trico 14-220 Innovision Beam Wiper Blade - 22" (Misc.)
I was drawn to these blades by their simplicity. In theory they should not gather ice and freeze solid as do standard blades. They also shouldn't "lift" at high speeds like the "winter" blades previously available. After 5 months of use I have come to a final opinion. First, these do not lift at high speeds, but they tend to be very loud when wiping under normal rain conditions. They do provide a clean wipe, possibly better than average. Unfortunately the winter performance is not as superior as I had hoped it would be. Ice does build up at the two ends of the solid plastic bracket that holds the blade to the arm. This causes a rigid section in the middle of the blade where the windshield will not be wiped at all, just as with standard blades. The ice can be cleared quite easily, but it happens frequently in freezing rain / wet snow.In conclusion, the loud wiping noise combined with the continued freezing-up problem negates the advantages relative to the added cost. If you've got the extra cash burning a hole in your pocket try them out. I am adding the following comments after more than 2 years of continual use of these wiper blades. While everything written above is still true, I must say that these blades are still performing at the same level as when I bought them! I don't think that I have ever used any wiper blades for 2+ years, let alone had them perform so consistently for their entire life. This information certainly adds some value to this product, and just may justify the added cost and minor annoyances.

Nothing spectacular. I've definitely had better blades than this. The Bosch Icon were better because they glided much smoother and adhered to the windshield better. These Trico blades do not adhere to the windshield as well. They're still decent, tho.

This is the first wiper blade that I have ever broken. The plastic clips on this wiper that hold it to the car's wiper arm are very prone to failure in cold weather. Mine snapped at zero degrees for no apparent reason. Replacement blade is working fine and the blade on the passenger side (smaller at 18") shows no sign of failure.
