This lantern is pretty neat. It gives off a considerable amount of light and has an off and on switch unlike lots of solar products. It saves on battery life.

A friend sent me this lantern and I was skeptical. However, after only ONE long session of charging outside in the sun, the lantern is still working at max power - one year later! I brought it out today because of a really bad thunderstorm with power loss. Didn't know if it would work, but found out it certainly DOES work. I'll be ordering several more of these wonderful lanterns right before hurricane season. MUCH easier to use than the common kerosene hurricane lantern, and it puts out more light.
Granted, the instructions are next to nothing, but it's a great buy. After a charge that lasted around a year, what more could I ask for?

i was surprised how well this lantern worked for what i payed. went camping in yosemite, and i had 4 of these. so great to not have to worry about batteries and stuff.

Not in the dark during power outages

Loving it!
Bought two of these to use as night lights while camping and traveling with my 2 & 4 years old kids. It works great and I don't have to go through 100 batteries.

Could Use Directions
The product did not have adequate instructions for operation, changing battery, etc. You had to figure everything out yourself.
