I tried this as a last gasp in a long line of products to control knee pain. I'm pleased to say that initial indications are that this works great. However, since it's not stated in the items description, it should be noted that one of the "tri-flora" items is poison ivy. Yes, that's correct - poison ivy! I had high hopes for the product after reading the other reviews, but this product did nothing other than smell - it did not releave any pain, did not improve flexibility - nothing. I tried this as a last gasp in a long line of products to control knee pain. I'm pleased to say that initial indications are that this works great. However, since it's not stated in the items description, it should be noted that one of the "tri-flora" items is poison ivy. Yes, that's correct - poison ivy! Not an issue for me as I have never had any sensitivity to that plant, but for someone who may be hypersensitive, you may want to look elsewhere rather than take the chance. There is a warning on the packaging.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing Relief, April 24, 2008

This gel is amazing. I suffered an injury to my shoulder from lifting weights and this is the only thing that helped with my pain. The doctor told me to use Naproxyn (anti-inflammatory), however that only made me gain weight and gave me constant stomach aches. I wake up stiff in my arm and shoulder every morning and a little bit of this just relieves the stiffness and gives me my mobility back!

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome stuff!, July 30, 2008

I've tried many different remedies and gels for arthritis/tendonitis in my elbow and painful foot joints to varying degrees of effectiveness. However, I was lucky to come across Triflora Arthritis gel - it really works wonders! It isn't sticky and feels neither cold nor hot, but it really relieves the pain. Patience is key. It doesn't work immediately, but after awhile, you notice that the pain has simply disappeared. Love this stuff!

5.0 out of 5 stars Give it a try!, November 30, 2008
This review is from: Triflora Arthritis Gel 2.75 Ounces (Health and Beauty)
In my search for a topical pain reliever, I've found that most of the typical drugstore items either smell, burn, are messy, and just plain don't work! I happened upon this item in an organic food store, read the package carefully, and gave it a try. True to the insert, noticeable pain relief takes about a week, but it is definitely NOTICEABLE! My arthritic knee, combined with Synvisc injections twice a year, is now functioning - not back to where it was when I was 50, but using Triflora as an adjunct to the injections and a once-a-day anti-inflammatory is a far cry from taking medicine 3-4 times a day and walking with a cane.

Miracle drug? No. It probably will not work for everyone. But in my case, when used in combination with my regular medical care, I've managed to avoid knee replacement surgery for easily another year!!!!

It's worth a try, and I'm glad I gave it a chance.

5.0 out of 5 stars ARNIFLORA HOMEOPATHIC GEL, March 5, 2011

You do not need to have arthritis to like this gel. I first used to for my mother's stiff hands and they instantly loosened up. Then I bought it for my stiff neck and noticed it felt great on my hands, too. One day I used some of the extra gel I had on my hands on my face (which is near the neck as you know)and it became really smooth and relaxed. Now I use the Arthritis gel as a face cream in winter, sometimes mixed with organic Nutiva coconut oil (small amounts please), and in summer I use the other Arnica gel called Arniflora, straight. It's totally clear and non-greasy and it makes my face smooth and tighter. No kidding. Homeopathic gels work on many levels, not just physical. Arnical heals many things, not just arthritis. Oh, the price on Amazon is excellent.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good product, February 1, 2012

The first time I used it on my knees I felt like I could run up a flight of stairs for the first time in over a year. This product works the same or a little better than the Voltaren Gel my doctor gave me, which is basically a topical NSAID, and sometimes my skin reacts to it. The Triflora Gel actually does have Poison Ivy in it, but I've never had an adverse reaction to it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Miracle Gel!, January 6, 2012

I recently had shoulder surgery to give my tendons more room so they won't impinge. Problem with surgery is that during the recovery, you swell. But since I am sensitive to NSAIDs my only hope was ice. My PT kept saying that the pain was from the swelling and that will be the biggest challenge to control. He had recommended Arnica, which I had been trying to no great relief, then I found this gel. It worked instantly on me. After an exceptionally painful PT session I found it in Whole Foods. Once applied, the pain was gone. I reapplied after iceing and before bed and slept uninterrupted and woke up pain free. Even my range of motion was better. I am not sure how well it works for other things, but for tendon swelling, this is a miracle gel!

5.0 out of 5 stars Hey! It worked for Hubby!, November 12, 2011
This review is from: Triflora Arthritis Gel 2.75 Ounces (Health and Beauty)
My husband has worked hard all his life. The night I gave this to him to try was no exception. His knees and legs were soar and I just happened to offer Trifora to him. (I bought it with him in mind, but didn't realize it had POISON IVY as a main ingredient! I was ready to return it, but glad that I didn't) I did warn him it had poison ivy in it. He doesn't get bad reactions to poison ivy, so he gave it a try after getting to bed. Within 1-2 minutes, he said he could move his leg like normal.
My husband did comment that when he showered off the next morning, there was a strong smell. It reminded him of when he would go into the woods and his feet would crush some plants under him...perhaps it was the smell of poison ivy??
Anyhow, he didn't stink. He just noticed that smell when he showered off. And I don't know why or how, but there was no reaction.
This is a good example of how plants can be beneficial. do not apply to broken skin.
There is another one that this manufacturer makes with arnica. It is currently in my shopping cart for my next future amazon order!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing relief!, August 23, 2011
This review is from: Triflora Arthritis Gel 2.75 Ounces (Health and Beauty)
I tried this gel literally the week I had received news there was no alternative to a hip replacement. I bought it on a whim, thinking, "What have I got to lose?" Within days, my pain was almost completely gone (after a year of daily pain rated 7, even with NSAIDs.) I am giving this a few more weeks, but if my hip continues to be this relatively pain-free (rated 1 or 2, occasionally), I will cancel the scheduled surgery. I can walk normally, lay on that hip in bed, and can actually walk my dog again. Non-greasy, absorbs completely, herbal scent, you don't need much (pea-sized amount covers lower back and hip), and inexpensive. If you are particularly reactive to poison ivy, this is not for you - there is a warning on the label. Never mind the nay-sayers about homeopathy; the proof is in the pudding.
