4.0 out of 5 stars CHANGE OF PACE FOR COLONEL POLLACK aka MACK BOLAN, December 8, 2009
By
This review is from: Trigger Point (The Executioner #262) (Paperback)

Executioner 262 is the first book in what some are calling the COMCON trilogy, though there are no makers on the book to indicate this as GOLD EAGLE usually does. The other two books in this series are 264 IRON FIST and 266 ULTIMATE PRICE. The three books were written by Gerald Montgomery who has written 4 of the Mack Bolan titles, with 276 LEVIATHAN being the fourth.

The COMCON trilogy concerns itself with the Fourth Reich activities within the U.S., especially in west Texas. The plotters have been at work since the end of WWII when the Nazi philosphy was brought to our country. The tentacles of this Fourth Reich reaches into the upper echelon of government reaching even the presidency. COMCON and 'Operation Paperclip" are too involved to go into in a short review, but both include kidnap, murder, mind control, and sex and drug activities. It is a change of pace to see Bolan working inside the U.S. sans terrorists or KGB, attempting to stop some transplanted, homegrown sickos. Kudos to the author who has written a book which makes it difficult to know when one is reading fiction or fact.

Reviews on another site indicate that this book is loved by some readers while not favorably received by some others. I have shelves full of the Mack Bolan saga going back to 1986 and can say I have read few other books in this long running series that keep me turning the pages as this one did. If even some of the material in this novel is true we have a problem or major proportions within this country extending down to this present day. Read the book and see what you think.

Live large, stay strong. (Mack Bolan)

Semper Fi.

5.0 out of 5 stars Trigger Point is a sure fire bet!, October 10, 2000
This review is from: Trigger Point (The Executioner #262) (Paperback)
Trigger Point, is absolutely an amazing book in the Executioner series. Mack Bolan is fighting Nazi's, who are trying to overthrow the government from within. The story is fast and exciting, with a strong patriotic message. Gerald Montgomery is a terrific new writer to the series, who adds dimension and a fresh approach. Trigger Point is the first book in the COMCON trilogy, and I am anxiously awaiting the other two. Bravo!
