1.0 out of 5 stars Always choose preview, March 23, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The Kindle Amazon Mobile LLC version of of this book for iPhone is unreadable. Images of what I assume would be graphs are not displayed, and text formatting has been removed.
This is a maths book so equations now have..
* squared symbol, usually superscript is a normal 2 i.e cos^2x is represented as cos2x such that cos2x + sin2x = 1
* superscript degree symbol is 0 ie 180 degrees is 1800 or 315 degrees is 3150
* Tabular values have table formatting stripped leaving a single list of values

On further inspection, I see what has happened. Optical character recognition has been applied to the text and has failed, '0', theta and degree symbol are all 'o'. Gave up trying to figure what 'p' translates to. Rest of text is just as meaningless. So steer clear. I am looking forward to reviewing the more tangible text in near future. So as I said in the title, choose preview before you buy!

1.0 out of 5 stars Do not buy. Unreadable formatting of math symbols., January 22, 2012
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
The book is useless. Graphics are missing and tables are not even formatted
in tabular format. Math symbols of exponentiation such as a^2 (a raised to the
square power) are rendered as "a2" making it impossible at times to interpret
the formulas. I bought it and fortunately Amazon reimbursed my money when I
complained about the problem. I have asked them to remove the book from the
store so nobody else gets stuck again.
