Best book on Trig I've ever read!, January 1, 2009
This review is from: Trigonometry Success In 20 Minutes a Day (Skill Builders in 20 Minutes) (Paperback)
For some reason I've always found Trig to be challenging but this book made it so easy to understand! I would recommend it to anyone looking to review/learn Trig, the explanations are easy to grasp and the problems are straightforward.

Well illustrated, Plenty of exercises, Plain language, August 10, 2011
This review is from: Trigonometry Success In 20 Minutes a Day (Skill Builders in 20 Minutes) (Paperback)
Trigonometry Success in 20 minutes a day by Christopher Thomas , 2007 edition,
is a welcomed text for people like me who had a hard time understanding
Trigonometry in High School .
It starts with a Pretest to assess your present trigonometry performance with a 50-question multiple choice examination to find out your strenghths and weaknesses.
It then moves into the nitty-gritty of Trigo in 20 lessons, beginning with Angles, Triangles, Pythagorean Theorem up to The Law of Sines, of Cosines, Heron`s Formula and some Advanced Problems through Calculator Trigonometry, Inverse Functions and Vectors.
well illustrated explanations with plenty of exercises and an answer key to secure your understanding ( 21 exercises just on Angles in the first chapter).
The lesson pages are not crowded offering plenty of white space so not to feel crampedand assaulted.
A Posttest of 50 questions on all the 20 lessons completes your study and comes of course with answers to evaluate your learning.
A glossary is provided as well as an Access Code to go online and get access to more exercises with immediate scoring assorted with explanations . I really appreciate this bonus.
Why 4 stars ? Well, no Index to retrieve quickly a specific point . Nevertheless
a great text for those worrying about Trigonometry; you are guaranteed a good start.

Good, not great, December 20, 2011
This review is from: Trigonometry Success In 20 Minutes a Day (Skill Builders in 20 Minutes) (Paperback)
This text leaves out way to many steps. Its geared more for people who had already taken a trig course years ago, and now need a refresher. This is not for someone who has no knowledge of trig. Math is sequential, you need a sold background in algebra and a basic outline of a full geometry course to really grasp the concepts of trigonometry. Overall, it is a good book, just a little misleading.
