5.0 out of 5 stars An EXCELENT purchase!!!, June 16, 2009
By
This review is from: Trigun: Angel Arms (DVD)
First off, I am a huge Trigun fan! This is one of my favorite anime's and I highly recomend it to anyone! Especially since the company has discontinued this product of the original DVD's. So, if you're a collector like me, then I highly recomend you get it while you still can!

I have ordered from MovieMars before and they have yet to dissapoint me! My product was delivered in a timly manner and in excelent condition! I will definatey order from them again in the future should they have what I'm looking for.

5.0 out of 5 stars Pivotal "Trigun", June 29, 2003
By
This collection features the first three episodes of season 2. Things start off much as they did in season 1 with "Little Arcadia." Meryl and Millie get involved in a land dispute. Not a bad episode by any means, but the spirit is that of "Quick Draw" - a romp where you know the good guys will prevail. Still, "Little Arcadia" is noteworthy for its central conceit - Vash appears only as a supporting player, and Wolfwood appears not at all. The girls save the day.

"Demon's Eye" is a goods indicator of what is to come. Legato Bluesummers sets the first of the Gung-Ho Guns on Vash. Though not the weirdest of the GHG, Dominique is intriguing because of gher powers. A good season two episode.

"Fifth Moon" is one of the pivotal moments in the series. Two more Gung-Ho Guns hunt Vash, who finds out just how ruthless Legato is. The conflict sets off a reaction in Vash, who reveals just how much more than human he is when he blows a crater in the moon. This episode offers insight into the destruction of July twenty-three years before, as well as further establishing Nicholas Wolfwood's character.

All in all, classic episodes of an anime classic.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fight! Fight! Fight!, March 20, 2001
I recomend this tape to all who have seen the previous 4! It is a heart stopping thriller as the dork called Vash that we all know and love becomes serious as he tries to save himself and those around him. In this episode he faces the first three gung-ho guns who are on orders to take his life. This tape will leave you with a bang!

5.0 out of 5 stars Trigun- A classic, February 12, 2001

Like the ones before it, this Trigun is no exception to the wonderful artistry and plot of the Triguns before it. When we meet Gung-Ho Guns the entire story just explodes into a massive vortex of action. Trigun has always been an excellent anime but I think that this one surpassed the expectation and precedent recently set by previous Trigun "episodes". If you want to be a real anime fan, your collection should not be with the Trigun series... especially not this one. ^_^
