5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic figure!
As an action figure collector and Trigun fan, I was ecstatic to get this. This is an excellent figure, without a doubt. The accessories include:

Two heads (one with sunglasses and one without)
Several extra hands (for holding the pistols, the Punisher, and one with a cigarette)
Two pistols
A cloth and chain for wrapping the Punisher...

First off, this is an awesome toy with tons of great accessories and amazing articulation. Having said that makes the following statement painful to utter but here goes, this toy is a piece of crap. I have owned three of these Nicholas D. Wolfwood action figures including the one I just recieved from Amazon. And every one of them has broken, not after days or even weeks of playing with them, but upon opening the package.
For the record, I have been collecting toys for a very long time. Most of the toys I purchase are put away unopened, but some toys are just too cool to not open up and put on display. The Trigun The Planet Gunsmoke figures are an example of the latter. I own Vash, Meryl, Monev the Gale, and Wolfwood, all great figures. I've never owned a toy that its sole purpose seemed to be simply to break. Until Wolfwood.
The problem with Wolfwood lies in the component the manufacturer uses for the pelvic region of the figure, an incredibly brittle piece of hollow plastic. The piece has three insertion pegs, one plugs into the torso for waist articulation, and the other two are for the left and right legs. In all three of the figures I have owned this is where they broke. Twice the peg for the right leg snapped, and the latest one snapped at the waist. I actually cannot stress enough how weak this component is, my use of the word "snapped" is actually inaccurate because "snapped" insinuates that there was pressure applied. "Fell apart" would actually be a more accurate description of what happened to these figures. This is simply an issue of piss poor planning and non-existent quality control. So if you are a collector like me and become very irate when your figures break, leave this one in the package or avoid it altogether.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not to durable, July 3, 2009

I bought this figure from a local comic shop for about [...] and although it does look really cool, it tends to break real easily. My figure's hand and waist broke within weeks of taking him out and setting him up, although now i'm attempting to fix his broken wasit, but still not as durable as Vash

I'll be precise while giving you guys a review for Mr. Wolfwood, if you are willing to buy this, then get it out of the box as soon as it arrives and put it on the display (it's another thing that it may broke). This is not the one I will recommend to play with or it will not be a great idea to get one either.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic figure!, May 14, 2010
= Durability:4.0 out of 5 stars  = Fun:5.0 out of 5 stars  = Educational:2.0 out of 5 stars

As an action figure collector and Trigun fan, I was ecstatic to get this. This is an excellent figure, without a doubt. The accessories include:

Two heads (one with sunglasses and one without)
Several extra hands (for holding the pistols, the Punisher, and one with a cigarette)
Two pistols
A cloth and chain for wrapping the Punisher
The "portable confessional" - it does fit on the figure's head, though I can't vouch for whether it fits on Vash
A highly detailed and aesthetic stand
Two crosses that fit on the stand

First off, this figure looks great, just like Nightow drew him. All of the pieces are wonderfully detailed - one look at the pistols shows what I mean. The Punisher is a beauty as well, and the sides even open as to simulate the rocket launcher. The real innovation with this figure is the articulation. There are several very unusual joints (such as those behind the shoulders) that allow the figure to do all the dramatic poses Wolfwood does in the series. This figure looks amazing on the shelf, whether wielding the Punisher or just holding his pistols. The figure, for what it is, is also fairly durable. I've never had a piece break, and as long as you're moderately careful it should be fine, for display or play. My only difficulty was switching to the hand that holds the Punisher the first time; if you don't watch out, you might end up having a bit of repair work to do.

This figure is superb, and I recommend it to any collector or Trigun fan.

This figure is incredible. 4 sets of hands, 2 different heads, 2 wood crosses, the cross punisher which opens, a little church, a cloth to wrap the punisher in, and a 2 foot length of chain to wrap the cross with. AWESOME. there are a million different positions you can pose him in. Your imagination is really the only limit on this guy. 100% satisfied.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best in my collection., December 23, 2007

I'm an action figure collector, and I own this. I've bought 3 of them! One to play with, one to display, and one limited version to display. While I don't recommend playing with this Wolfwood figure, I recommend it to fans of the series who happen to also like collecting figures.

The figure is not very sturdy, because Wolfwood himself is quite tall and lanky. So his limbs tend to break off. I've had the biggest problem with his legs. But if you keep him on his stand, he should do fine. He makes a great looking display piece, with his weapon(s). I just keep the two on my wall, still inside their bubble packaging. They look great next to my Vash Kaiyodo figures. I also have the regular and black paint edition of those.

If you order this, you might receive a limited edition version. Kaiyodo packed one limited edition Wolfwood in each box sent to retailers. The way you can tell is if the head that is on Wolfwood has sunglasses. Upon closer inspection, you'll notice that he is also battle damaged. I found mine on the rack, stacked amongst the other regular editions. Regular edition Wolfwoods come packed wearing the normal head, without sunglasses and no battle damage. But the sunglasses head is included, just not attached.
