I have the Trikke 8 and am buying the trikke 5 for my grand daughter. excellent toy, excellent for transportation. Very fun. It takes a little practice (one afternoon for most) to get the rhythm down, but so fun, once you get the hang of it!

My daughter likes it, but she usually goes for other ride-on toys first. We've watched the instructional DVD several times and none of the kids are able to make this self-propel like they claim. Save your money and get something they'll enjoy more.

Update: 1/12/2011 - this piece of junk has sat in the garage for the past two years collecting dust. It's been used maybe three times...it just doesn't work as advertised and none of the kids are willing to waste any more time on it. It'll probably go in the garbage this week to make room in the garage.

Bought this for one of my kids, because they saw it at the Houston Rodeo and wanted one.
It got here and they were excited.
They watched the included DVD while I put the bolt in place and tightened it down per the instructions.
They took it outside and got after it.
The thrill lasted about 3mo tops.
All 3 kids decided that their ripstiks were more fun.

It is very well made, however the soft wheel material practically vaporizes on our concrete streets. Then you end up riding on bump, bump, bump....

Bottom line from my kids: It looks cooler than it really is, and the first time you see someone on it, its REALLY cool...because its different.
Current status: sitting in my garage un-ridden in months.

This toy is an excellent way to keep all the neighborhood kids busy ! My kids love this trike for the price u can't beat it

Also have the T67...would recommend that a person waits to purchase the T67. The T5 is hard for young people to manipulate. But....my older granddaughter learned on the T5 which is how she got the T67 and Loves it!

Great scoter just push with one leg. But when you go down steep hills your tires will burn and create a bumpy ride

i got this for my 7 yr old she likes it but says its hard to learn i been working with her got one my self it does take pratice like learning to ride a bake for the first time i like mine its a great work out

I found that this product looks easy to use but is HARD. I would not buy one!!!!!!!! Does not work like they show. very dissapointed!!!

this toy is very cool.i gave it 5 stars for fun becuz it's really fun to ride.in educational value i gave it 3 star becuz it helps u learn about balance just a little.it's pretty durable but it can adn will break like all toys,even thoughi ahve had mine for 5 months and it hasn't broken yet.since it's a pretty good toyi gave it a 4 star total.that's my review.......da da da da da da da!

i am getting this scooter for christmas i found a display of it in the toysrus store i was looking at the E300 electric razor scooter but it was not safe so I did some reshersh on theis scooter and my parents think that it would be okay to wish for this for christmas i am sooooooooooo exited about this
