Editorial Reviews

TRILL O.G. marks the end of the TRILLOGY that legendary hip hop artist Bun B has taken us through. Bun B is
calling the 3rd installment of the Trill series his best. Trill. O.G. not only showcases Bun s lyrical ability that he is known for, he got
the best of the best from today s music scene to contribute. Trill O.G. features appearances by Drake, Young Jeezy, Yo Gotti, Trey
Songz, Pimp C, Tupac, and production by the likes of DJ Premier and the Justice League. Prepare to take a trip to 2010 Texas courtesy of an
Underground King.

Hiphoplogics
Because I appreciate that he put the entire album on NPR for everyone to listen to before they decide to buy.

I never heard of Bun B before. I was looking for programs to listen to on NPR's website and decided to go to their music section. Under their 'First Listen' section on the site, there was an article about Bun and a stream of this whole new album. I've listened to it 2 times already and I love it. Like I said, I never knew about this guy before but I'm definitely a new fan now and will be looking for his album releases from now on. I will be purchasing this album for 2 reasons. 1. Because it is really good. 2. Because I appreciate that he put the entire album on NPR for everyone to listen to before they decide to buy. The beats are tight, the skits are funny, the guests are cool, everything comes together nicely.

This album is great after pimp c died I don't think no body knew where bun was gonna go but this album is great the beats are great to knock the trunk and bun b is always great with lyrics but to many guest appearances so you don't get to much Bun B but even the previous 2 solo's album's but it's not to bad so pick up a copy and support the trill R.I.P. Bun B took his time and did the damn thing with this album. He showed that he is and always will be a force to be reckoned with and I know Pimp C is looking down on him smiling as he steadily reps UGK IV Life. Steve Below came through with most of the production blessings. I look forward to hearing more from him in the near future.....Buy this album legit...Go to Best Buy and get it on sale with the bonus tracks and DVD before this week is up.

You know if I must be the first to review this album then so be it...This joint is BANGING. Now I've been not just a UGK fan but a Bun B fan forever...so I might be just a tad bit partial but regardless of that, this album is a must have for any dirty south hip hop fan. With everyone of his solo albums, he's continued to come harder and harder. Now of course someone is gonna see this and say that "But he got Drake and Gucci Mane on it," well this is true and like everyone else who knows a lil bit about the industry you gotta put the hot new cat(s) on ya album. Without being too biased the posthumous verses from Tupac and Pimp C are stupendous, yeah I said stupendous not to mention he got DJ Premier (who's originally from TEXAS by the way) on production yeah instant heat...Anyway TRILL O.G. is probably the best the album this year so put your Rick Ross album on pause for a minute and pick this one up...PEACE!!!

Seriously, is this all new fans rating this CD? This CD is alright, but his Trill and II TRill were different. I was looking so forward to this CD, and got it on the day it came out with my friend who is already a fan. Trill OG just seems mainstream to me. Drake? Come on Bun B, I was so disappointed when I heard him on your songs. The people you used to rap with were so much better. Maybe I'm biased cuz I can't stand Drake's rapping, but honestly, me and my friend heard the first 7 or 8 songs on the way home and none of them were that good...Right now I'm listening to my Bun B mix with Draped Up, Another Soldier, Keep it 100, My Block, Late Night Creepin, Pop it 4 Pimp, If I Die II Night, and more, theses are his real tracks. There were a few songs on here I liked, just some I could have done without.

After hearing Trill OG received 5 mics by The Source (the first time this has been done since 2004), I had to get a hold of this album. Being from Australia, no music retailer was selling the cd. After buying the album, I must say this is damn good work by Bun B and worthy of the coveted 5 mic tag. It's an extremely well put together album, with Bun B riding each beat like Kelly Slater on a wave and all guest artists moulding perfectly with his style. Definitely worth buying and I hope this goes Gold and Platinum!

Everyone who whines that hip hop is dead needs to buy this CD. I cant remember the last CD I bought that I could listen to start to finish and love every minute of it. This album delivers that. Bun B is still in his prime, after all these years. He never sold out, you gotta respect the realness. Some good old school beats on here too, mixed in with plenty of new stuff too. Dont download this, buy it! Its well worth the $10

Bun B has dropped a undeniable classic album! I have been a fan of UGK since day one. I love all of Bun's music but I have not heard him spit this vicious since the "dirty Money" album! Pimp C is looking down smiling at his brother Bun B. The legacy of UGK will never die! Trill O.G classic... period.
