This one of the first books about Bob Carrol and Black Cat Mountain , world famous Trilobites .
George goes into great detail describing the Trilobites found at Black Cat Mountain .
After much Trilobite description George tells of Bob Carrol and his quest for the Trilobite , some very old bugs indeed . The Trilobite is a first inhabitance of the Earth , dating back some 500 million years , long long before the Dinosaurs , the Trilobites at BCM are 350 to 450 Million years old .
Thanks to Bob and his great work and George Hansen for bringing it to light in this book !
The first 2/3rds is dry and clinical , good reference for Black Cat Mountain Trilobites , but George gets there in the end when he tells Bob's story .
