Product Description

Just a quick look at the pods on this Trinidad Scorpion Pod tells you that this is going to be HOT. In fact we would say it's hotter than the Ghost Pepper, Bhut Jolokia. The plants themselves are quite tall and produce a good number of pods which mature from green - orange - red when ripe. Their characteristics shape sees a two or three inch pendant which tapers to a sharp point, resembling a tail - hence the name, Trinidad Scorpion. The pods mature red. We have classed the pods as "OUTRAGEOUSLY HOT" on the Scoville heat scale. In fact is of the scale.

What grew from the seeds are Habaneros, definitely not Trinidad Scorpion peppers.

I ordered 20 of these Trinidad Scorpion seeds and although they arrived on time they are not the correct item. I babied them through germination, seedling stages and now aI have 12 plants total. Most of them are 2' tall at least and all have blooms on them. Several have produced pods and guess what? There is NO way that these are scorpions. After months of time and effort, I find out that they jerked me around with the incorrect item and now will not respond to me. They're lucky as my Amazon A-Z period ended a week ago. I cannot tell you how angry I am. I promised friends and family that I'd have these ready by a certain date and it appears as if I have to start all over from scratch. I do NOT recommend this company for anything at all. Poor customer service, do not ship correct items, etc. Steer clear!

What grew from the seeds you shipped don't appear to be Trinidad Scorpion peppers, but instead appear to be Trinidad 7-pot peppers. They don't have the tail that the scorpions are known for, but instead resemble a habanero pod more in shape. They're good peppers, but... not what I ordered.

Simply not true. I ordered these along with Yellow Jamaican Scotch Bonnets and received Orange Habanero seeds. The problem will Amazon.com's 90 policy is there is no way to tell what these peppers are within the 90 day window. RIDICULOUS. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! They refuse to respond to emails and are obviously running a scam here.

The seeds I received were labeled as the Trinidad Scorpions that I had ordered. It took me almost two months to find out but when the peppers started to grow on these plants it turns out they were Banana peppers. Everyone of them. They all came up so they were good seeds but it was very dissapointing taking all the time to grow what were supposed to be the hottest peppers in the world and then finding out they were actually one of the mildest and most common peppers available.Too late to reorder and replant.Hope others get what they order. Good Luck.

I initially had a problem with my order. I was sent a shipping confirmation within a day after placing the order, but after several weeks it still did not arrive. Amazon includes a shipping estimate so I did not want to contact the company until it was outside that window. When the seeds still did not arrive, I contacted the company and within an hour they responded saying they would send another order free of charge. Those seeds arrived in only a couple days. I planted the seeds and although the instructions say they take 2-3 weeks to germinate, I had a seedling within 1 week! The plant is still very small but is quite healthy.

Despite the first missing order, I would still give a 5 star rating. Since I received a shipping confirmation right away from the company, it seems likely that the order was lost in the mail and was not the company's fault. And, given those circumstances, they still sent a free replacement for my order which arrived very quickly. Great product and great customer service gives a company credibility and a good reputation. I definitely recommend this seller!
