Sweet Trinidadian Vibes, February 17, 2001

Sweet Trini vibes is indeed what I feel when I listen to this CD. Being a Trinidadian living in Toronto, Canada I can honestly tell you that I am reminded of home each and every time I put on this great CD. The sunday drive through Mayaro and Toco. The bright, white morning sun hitting my eyes. The incredibly fresh scent thats in the air. Limming on a hammock in the shade of a gallery. Blue skies and smilling faces. All those things great about Trinidad are given a soundtrack. Steel Pan, more than any other carribean music, captures the essence of what Trinidad is all about. This CD is an excellent example of that claim. Pan music is not just about entertaining your mind, but it is about entertaining your body and soul as well.
