Manga 7 continues The Night Lords storyline(Episodes 15-19 anime) At the Imperial Assembly formally accuses Ion Fortuna of conspiring with the Vatican to kill the Empress and start a war with Terrans. Ion and Esther seek out the human former servant of the Duchess of Moldova whose ship brought them back to the empire. A wandering tea seller named Seth directs them to his home. They find dying and are attacked by zombie vampires. Esther is injured in the zombie attack. Seth bandages her wounds and takes the two to a safe house where they can rest. Seth sends Ion out for food and other supplies. He runs into Radu who tells him about Gyulla Gydar, the Marquis of Hungary killing Bishop of Istevan and destroying the church. Ion is determined to stop Radu personally. He leaves the safety of the Duchess of Kiev's home to pursue Radu. Esther follows him. She runs into Seth at the Moldova Mausoleum. Inside the find thermite napalm bombs inside. Seth is a warrior princess even in human form. At one point Esther muses that she reminds her of Abel. Note: Seth has a pet white squirrel named Abel. This book follows the anime story line, with very little change, except there a few more details. |
