5.0 out of 5 stars Continues to Pick Up Steam
The further you get into Trinity Blood, the more apparent its epic nature becomes.
It's nice to see the conclusion of the Nightlords/Methuselah Empire story arc, as well as the introduction of the Third Reich Schutzstaffel-esque Rosencreuz Orden.

3.0 out of 5 stars O.K. but not the best novel in the series
It finishes up the Nightlord story line. It has a second story about Tres and his orgins. I myself am a Abel Nightroad fan so I was disappointed about how few scenes Abel is in. I love the part in the story that deals with Cain, Dietrich, and Issac.

Kiyo Kyujyo's artwork is top-of-the-line, as expected, and the political intrigue and drama suck you in. I think it will be interesting to see everything that happens behind the scenes with the Orden that was senselessly glossed over and clipped from the anime. I smell double-crossing and infighting there.
Reads like a post-apocalyptic World War II. Rosencreuz as the Axis powers, the Vatican and Albion as the Allies and the Methuselah as the prosecuted.

5.0 out of 5 stars TRINITY BLOOD MANGA 9, March 7, 2009

TRINITY BLOOD MANGA NO. 9

TB9 finishes up the Nightlords storyline(Episodes 15-19). An interesting difference is that Seth AND Ion, Esther went to find Abel. Cain makes a short appearance and takes a shot of Dietrich's blood.
The main storyline is Gunmetal Hound (TB Audiodisc no. 1). For anyone who bought this disc and doesn't understand Japanese this is a must if you want to find out what was going on. HCXIII (Tres) battles HCXII(Dos). Dos works for the Inquisition and wants to absorb Tres' memory files. Also, Dos has been renamed Brother Barthlomew.
