4.0 out of 5 stars Probably the best of Ekseption October 5, 2010
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
Ekseption is something of an acquired taste. This singular mixture of Symphonic Rock and Academic Music doesn't like to everybody, but I think sometimes it's great, and this is one of those times. With "Trinity", I believe got its highest level, reaching a wonderful balance between the arrangements of classic themes, and the new themes. I specially enjoy "The Peruvian Flute" and "Improvisations", and also the version of Bach's "Toccata and Fugue".

Rick van der Linden is at his best in this great record, an so are many of the other musicians. If you like music of other Dutch groups like Focus and Trace, you'll enjoy Ekseption also, and for me, this is by far their best album.

In this edition, there is a nice addition with all the songs from other album, "Ekseption 3", also very interesting.
So you get 2 for 1!!

Go for it...
