We have all been taught that good nutrition will generate good health; but in the speeding blur that races through our day to day lives, very few are aware that we must reconnect with both ourselves and with our world in order to truly return to balance. To ensure that our bodies, minds, and spirits realign to achieve an equal homeostasis, we must exercise not just our physical selves, but the seven golden principles of totality: find balance and seek joy, cultivate awareness, avoid reactivity, treasure togetherness, return to Mother Nature through real food and exercise, create good karma every day, and embrace responsibility. Part I of The Trinity of Health demonstrates how to easily incorporate these spiritual values so as to elevate our consciousness beyond the mundane and confining routines of everyday. Once we have spread the wings of our minds and spirits, we can refocus on our bodies: Part II serves as a complete guide to smart nutrition. It illustrates a fail-proof method to lose and maintain weight, teaches one how to choose wholesome yet unbelievably satisfying foods, and even offers a seven-day program to jumpstart readers on their new path to health. Carmen Harra's Trinity of Health is essential to anyone wishing to finally return their bodies, minds, and spirits to balanced wholeness. It is a masterfully crafted manual to naturally reestablishing health through the seven guiding principles; we must all reconnect with ourselves and with our world to create the richest, longest, and most fulfilling life.
Internationally recognized psychologist, metaphysical intuitive, and best-selling author Dr. Carmen Harra is an in-demand counselor. Her integrative approach to mind, body, and spiritual healing is rooted in traditional psychology as well as alternative healing. An expert in the fields of both psychology and parapsychology, Dr. Harra believes that every individual can manifest his or her own reality and seize control of their health. She has helped people all over the world achieve happier, more fulfilling lives. "Once responsibility for your health is embraced, and the mind and the heart are engaged, anything is possible," says Dr. Harra.
Born in a northern region of Romania known as Transylvania, Carmen Harra began dreaming of the world outside her small village from a very young age. At just five years old, she nearly drowned in a river near her home before being rescued by her father. But the ill-fated experience actually blessed her with an extraordinary gift which she would use to help thousands of others. While being resuscitated, Carmen recalls travelling through a tunnel of white light, and emerging into a picturesque world of beautiful landscapes, familiar faces that had passed on, and serene music before she was reeled back to earthly reality. She was convinced she had broken through the dimension which grounds us all to one reality; she knew she had experienced the other side. As a little girl, Carmen would gaze up at her father and state with determination: "I'm going to go far, I'm going to sing and one day leave this country." Mistaking her intuitive gift for childish imagination, her parents would laugh off her bold declarations, her larger-than-life predictions. It wasn't until the age of 9, when Carmen accurately predicted that Nicolae Ceausescu will become president, that her parents began to believe in her abilities.
As early as 11 years, Carmen began entering and consistently winning singing competitions. She knew that her singing career would become her saving grace, her escape from the little town with no running water and no chance for progress. She quickly rose to fame, appearing first on Romanian national television and then touring all throughout Europe, and released twelve albums which all became instant hits. All the while, Carmen remained fascinated with the remarkable ability of the mind to transcend linear time and foresee the future, the ancient teachings of Kabbalah, and the mesmerizing science of numerology. She was also greatly captivated by the possibility of communicating with those who have passed on. Although fully immersed in her singing career, she began educating herself on these ancient teachings and paranormal topics and exercising more and more her ability to break linear time. Carmen also decided to extend her education and graduated Babes-Bolyai with a degree in philosophy and one in philology. But in her twenties, Carmen suffered a devastating loss as her father passed away. While attending his funeral, Carmen received a critical message from her father's spirit, who assured her that she would indeed leave Romania permanently and that she would meet her future husband immediately after arriving in the new country. The man's name, continued Carmen's father, was printed on the tombstone behind his own. She peeked behind her father's grave, and saw the name Virgil imprinted into the stone.
Carmen was first invited to visit America on a singing contract, but she knew she was destined to stay for the rest of her life. One of the destinations outlined in her contract included a restaurant where she was to perform. As soon as Carmen entered the restaurant, the owner walked up to her and introduced himself as Virgil. The two were inseparable from that moment.
Carmen began contemplating what career to pursue in America. Although never intending initially to work in the fields of psychology or intuitive counseling, Carmen could not help but tell people what she saw in their futures and offer guidance. She decided to trust her own intuition and utilize the gift that came to her naturally, and began offering sessions as an intuitive counselor. She also opted to expand her metaphysical skills by attending Albert University and earning a Ph.D. in Hypnosis and Alternative Healing. Carmen knew that she could better service her clients by combining her intuitive abilities with knowledge of cognitive therapy. Thus, in addition to her previous degrees, she attained a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology and began to write her first book, Everyday Karma, which has been translated in 18 different languages and sold all over the globe.
Carmen began to branch out and meet influential people as her career in America steadily progressed. Candice Bergen was among the first to request a session with the rising therapist. Around the same time, Carmen met Denise Rich (wife of billionaire Mark Rich), Courtney Cox, Senator Warner and his daughter, Linda and Jennifer Lopez, and Lauren Bessette (Kennedy's wife's sister). She also began appearing on TV: Carmen's early television appearances include Fox News, NBC's Let's Talk with Dorie Klissas, Good Day New York, and many more.
As an intuitive counselor, Carmen has made countless successful predictions both privately and publicly. Among her most renowned predictions are:
*The third world war will take place in the Middle East in the coming years (Good Day New York, 01/99), *We will eliminate Saddam Hussein (Good Day New York, 01/99), *We will discover water on Mars (Good Day New York, 01/99), *We will never find Osama bin Laden (Channel 11 Morning News, 11/02), *Al Gore will win the presidency but will not take office (Channel 11 Morning News, 08/00), *Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston will split (Channel 11 Morning News, 08/00), *Hillary Clinton will run in 2008 against a Republican woman (Sarah Palin), much younger than her, totally unknown at that point (Daily News, 2003), *A man of around 40 years, tall, with light features (Rafael Correa) will become president of Ecuador (America Vive, 10/04), *Barack Obama will become president of the United States but will have a very hard time in the White House and will not run for a second term (The View, 10/08), *2010 will be the year of earthquakes and the year will begin with a huge earthquake of 7.0 magnitude (Fox News and Channel 11, January 6th and 8th, 2010, respectively), *Republicans will win Congress and the economy will get worse (Nightly News with Chuck Scarborough, 05/10). She has been featured in numerous publications such as: the New York Times, New York Post, New York Daily News, Vogue, New York Magazine, US Weekly, V Magazine, Elle Magazine, and many more. She has appeared on the following TV programs: Good Morning America, The View, Fox News, The Today Show, The CBS Early Show, What's the Buzz on ABC, Telemundo, America Vive, Channel 11 Morning Show, Good Day New York, NBC 10, The Strategy Room, BetterTV, NBC Tampa Morning Show, NBC Miami Morning Show, ABC Jacksonville Morning Show, New York Nightly News with Chuck Scarborough, Channel 6 in Paris, QVC (with her own jewelry line), Happy Hour on ProTV International, etc. She was also given her own TV show on ProTV International, called "Happy Hour Special with Carmen Harra." The Trinity of Health is a self help guide that includes 10 chapters. It consists of two parts: Part One focuses on spiritual values; it offers readers an analysis of the seven guiding principles and motivates them to incorporate these values into their daily life. Part Two is about nutrition. Specifically, it is all about smart nutrition and how people can eat healthily and joyfully. There is reference to the Greek diet on page 31, why the Mediterranean diet is better than other diets, and tips on how to avoid fatty foods and stick to healthy foods. `Moderation in all things' is the secret, Carmen says on page 41, and this is a wise section. Further on, on page 103, the topic is about self esteem. Loving and changing yourself in order to have a good carma are quite interesting to read. Carmen makes reference to organic foods on page 114, thus urging readers to switch to healthier alternatives. At the back of the book there is a Bibliography section.
This book is a valuable guide for everyone interested in their well-being. Once the readers get the required knowledge, they can change their lifestyle and values. Carmen's book is well-written, simple and clear to read. I love the letter font; it is relaxing for the eyes and obviously it caters to people at an older age, without restricting a younger audience though. This guide inspires and urges people to change, so it is an invaluable tool in the reader's hands. As Carmen says, the secret of good life is balance, which sounds simple but it is difficult to have.' Therefore, balance your life with Carmen's new book! Get it from
