Finally a jazz soloist for the 90's on trombone. Sax has been so over done recently - making this "COOL" album a real breathe of fresh air. It is not the blatty sounds of the past, but rather mellow and smoothe - remenisant of Stan Getz. The skillful and clever twists on these classic jazz tunes is well worth the listen.
