Teriffic bench for weight training,
By Cuisine Enthusiast "Cuisine Enthusiast" (Ashland, Or) - See all my reviews

This bench is completely stable and the correct dimension for work with dumbells. The manufacturers placed intelligently designed levers with which one can fold the legs in and out as well as great, protective, metal handles to move and to store it. It was also packaged very protectively.

Went to the doc for annual physical. Suggested incorporating strength training into my exercise routine. Never done any workouts with weights before, so was just looking for something very basic that would fold up easily and handle my frame (6'3", 235 lbs). This bench does the job. Quality materials and feels very sturdy. Expect it to last a long time and handle my entry-level workouts. Excellent choice for a basic bench.

Wobbly,

Overall, the bench is pretty much what I expected. I wanted a fold-away, and the size and weight are about right. The bench itself is narrow, but I have no problem with that. The only complaint is that the two holes that the bolts slide into (to lock the legs) are larger than the bolts. So, you actually get a forward/backward wobble. It's not that big of a deal, but it could have been made a little better.

You get exactly what is pictured. It is a good, solid workout bench. Works well for flat, incline, and decline presses. Folds up nicely for storage.

Not that it matters, but I used to be a personal trainer and I think the build quality of this thing is great, it's compact, it's solid, attractive etc. Anyone complaining about this thing is just looking to be a pebble under someone's shoe. The price on Amazon was much better than my local price of $140 (i.e., LIST price). Great buy, solid piece... you won't regret it.

Outstanding Value; Great Bench,

I read the reviews prior to buying and they were very helpful. However, I was concerned that at least one reviewer mentioned that the bench wobbles forward and backward because the pins that lock the legs in place are smaller than the holes they fit into. And guess what, that is the case, but not to worry. You can get most of the wobble out by tightening the bolts that hold the legs to the frame; all you need is an allen wrench and a socket set and you're good to go. So, I am extremely happy with this product and would definitely recommend it to other people. It is compact yet sturdy and folds easily for storage. Overall, a great buy!

Really like this bench. For the home exerciser who does moderate weight training, this bench was perfect in addition to an affordable price. Would recommend this bench.

This weight bench is a great choice for people who have a limited amount of space. It folds up compactly for storing under the bed or in a closet. It has a small "footprint" when set up, and feels stable to work out on. Someone over six feet tall may find that the bench is too low to the floor for their comfort. It's perfect for the
type of person who is exercising to maintain their health, not to win contests!

I have been looking for a bench long enough for me (a guy of 6'2" stature). This bench fits me perfectly! In fact, it could fit guys larger than me as well. It is quite narrow, but that's what I've been looking for (especially helpful for any exercise where you lie on your back, b/c its narrowness allows you to lower weights further). I have had shorter people try it as well, and they all are quite impressed as well (many look at it and say it's too narrow, but the second I hand them some weights, they say "dang, you can really lower elbows!"). I have had no problems with it thus far, and don't for-see me having any either. It is solid and not going anywhere! Pick it up and try it for yourself! Great Product!

even better than expected,

I live in a condo and wanted a bench that could be folded up and stored away when not in use. I just workout to keep in shape and use weights that I can handle for 15 to 20 repetitions so I figured this bench would be perfect for me. I was right; this thing is great for my purposes and is even more sturdy than I expected or needed. It's a great bargain and I would have paid even more for it. When you first set it up it has a slight rock to it, but if you spread the legs completely apart, the problem disappears. I'm glad I bought it.
