5.0 out of 5 stars Help! I can't get this cd out of my player!, June 25, 2002

All I can say is this music is infectious! I find myself singing aloud in my car or house to the wonderfully crafted songs. The music goes from lilting and soulful to rockin and countryfied. I'm truly touched by the heartfelt lyrics (caste away) and the infectiously fun 'broke'. The lead singers voice has a Natalie Merchant feel thats soulful and throaty, and blends famously with the back-up singer. I had the luck to happen upon them playing a live show, and it was great. I can't wait until radio gets a hold of these songs, on the chance that I wear this cd out! Thankfully I can always buy another one. All I can say is..J-200 I WANT MORE!

5.0 out of 5 stars A Perfect Blend of Folk and Rock, June 8, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Trip From Grace (Audio CD)
Vocals are outstanding and lyrics are interesting. Only had to listen a time or two to get addicted. Now I can't wait until I'm the only one at home so I can play it over and over. Received my copy from a friend and I'm ordering another as a gift. It's great.

5.0 out of 5 stars First Rate Chicago Band Release Another First Rate Album!, June 4, 2002
By A Customer
This review is from: Trip From Grace (Audio CD)
This album has it all! Strong vocals add to the rare and fresh mix of jazzy-bluesy-country sounds of J-200. This release is perfect a follow-up to the bands first album, The Dark , making both albums a must have in any music fans collection.
