Best diaper rash cream ever!!!
Hillary
My son has very sensitive skin and had an awful reaction to a certain brand of diapers causing him to get diaper rash.

My toddler developed a diaper rash from thrush. I was using this product along with a Miconazole cream, and I couldn't figure out why her rash kept getting worse. I checked the ingredients and this paste contains cornstarch, which yeast love to eat. As soon as I switched to Burt's Bee's Baby Bee ointment (no cornstarch or any other yeast-food) the rash has quickly cleared. I'm sure this works fine for other rashes, but I don't recommend using this if you suspect thrush.

Although this cream is on the expensive side, I don't care because it is the only cream that worked on our daughters diaper rash. She had a pretty bad rash the first few months and the other more popular brands didn't work. I believe this one works because it is so thick and doesn't easily get wiped away by the diaper. The others are more liquidy. When your baby has the rash, after wiping, be sure her skin is dry before applying the cream (we usually patted dry with unmoisturized toilet paper). We then applied a yeast infection ointment that our doctor prescribed us and then applied a super thick coat of Triple Paste, "like icing on a cake" as my doctor suggested, to act as a barrier. We were going through these every other week to get rid of her initial rash but it was well worth it. Once the rash was gone, we have only been applying a thin coat and it is lasting at least a couple months or more. My doctor uses this cream in her office as well which always makes you feel good about the choices you made.

First of all, I'm not one who writes reviews... but I felt like there was probably other moms out there dealing with what I just went thru that could use this advise... so here you go. Like everyone else who's written a review - I tried EVERYTHING on my baby's diaper rash... I was so upset, so like you I did a search to see if there was anything else out there & found the Triple Paste. Based on the glowing reviews I bought it. So it's expensive - BUT IT WORKED-sorta... It takes a bumpy rash away (the kind that look more like hives) in a day... but my baby has had a BAD diaper rash since she was 5 days old (is 5 1/2 weeks now) and it turned into something that looked more like a burn with the skin rubbed raw on both sides of her bum right next to her hole & would bleed a little when you touched it... so sad! (we thought it was the acid in the poop burning her skin)... so the paste helped a little but not very fast (went thru an entire tub in about 1 1/2 weeks because you're supposed to put it on THICK & the rash just went down a little). I had been doing all of the home remedies people suggested: every few diaper changes dipping her bum in warm water in the sink (a couple of inches deep) with a teaspoon of baking soda (neutralizes the acid in the poop), rinsing out the wipes so they don't have the alcohol in them anymore (it's too harsh on sensitive skin), patting her bum with a wet cotton ball instead of whipping, and FINALLY the thing that worked in conjunction with the paste was a blend of essential oils rubbed on her rash each diaper change and then putting the paste on top to act as a barrier, after 1 day of doing that the rash is half as big! I'm NOT an essential oil rep, I don't have a loyalty to any one brand, but I was desperate.Read more ›

My baby has extremely sensitive skin. So sensitive we can only use water and towels for wipes. This diaper rash cream has been the only thing that has worked to clear up his diaper rashes. Usually they are much improved within 24 hours of using this rash. Now we use this with every diaper change to try to prevent any rashes from happening and it does a great job. It's nice that there are no added fragrances. Will continue to purchase from Amazon, it's the cheapest price I have found.

This is the only product we use for our son's sensetive "tush". WE tried almost every other product and this is the only one that works for him.

By far the best diaper rash oitment we have tried.

My daughter has had diaper rashes since she was a baby, now over three years of age. We have tried many other ointments and none work like this one does. We have tried name brands like A&D and Desitin, great products for other people, but they did not work for us. This paste is almost double the price of the above named brands in the same container size, but it is WELL WORTH THE MONEY. It works best for over night applications. When my daughter was in diapers and had a rash, best if caught before it is bright red, if you know what I mean, we would apply a thick layer of this generously over the are and then some, about 1/2" to avoid the spread of the rash. If we did the over night application, in the morning the rash would be significantly controlled and it was manageable versus her going through agonizing pain of these rashes.

Best advice I can give you, go to your local drug store and buy the smallest tub/tube you can find of this and next time the need arises, try it.
