The rash started to clear up within a day, and was gone within 3 days.

My son has very sensitive skin and had an awful reaction to a certain brand of diapers causing him to get diaper rash.

I've tried a multitude of diaper rash creams and this is the best, by far.

My toddler developed a diaper rash from thrush. I was using this product along with a Miconazole cream, and I couldn't figure out why her rash kept getting worse. I checked the ingredients and this paste contains cornstarch, which yeast love to eat. As soon as I switched to Burt's Bee's Baby Bee ointment (no cornstarch or any other yeast-food) the rash has quickly cleared. I'm sure this works fine for other rashes, but I don't recommend using this if you suspect thrush.

Although this cream is on the expensive side, I don't care because it is the only cream that worked on our daughters diaper rash. She had a pretty bad rash the first few months and the other more popular brands didn't work. I believe this one works because it is so thick and doesn't easily get wiped away by the diaper. The others are more liquidy. When your baby has the rash, after wiping, be sure her skin is dry before applying the cream (we usually patted dry with unmoisturized toilet paper). We then applied a yeast infection ointment that our doctor prescribed us and then applied a super thick coat of Triple Paste, "like icing on a cake" as my doctor suggested, to act as a barrier. We were going through these every other week to get rid of her initial rash but it was well worth it. Once the rash was gone, we have only been applying a thin coat and it is lasting at least a couple months or more. My doctor uses this cream in her office as well which always makes you feel good about the choices you made.

First of all, I'm not one who writes reviews... but I felt like there was probably other moms out there dealing with what I just went thru that could use this advise... so here you go. Like everyone else who's written a review - I tried EVERYTHING on my baby's diaper rash... I was so upset, so like you I did a search to see if there was anything else out there & found the Triple Paste. Based on the glowing reviews I bought it. So it's expensive - BUT IT WORKED-sorta... It takes a bumpy rash away (the kind that look more like hives) in a day... but my baby has had a BAD diaper rash since she was 5 days old (is 5 1/2 weeks now) and it turned into something that looked more like a burn with the skin rubbed raw on both sides of her bum right next to her hole & would bleed a little when you touched it... so sad! (we thought it was the acid in the poop burning her skin)... so the paste helped a little but not very fast (went thru an entire tub in about 1 1/2 weeks because you're supposed to put it on THICK & the rash just went down a little). I had been doing all of the home remedies people suggested: every few diaper changes dipping her bum in warm water in the sink (a couple of inches deep) with a teaspoon of baking soda (neutralizes the acid in the poop), rinsing out the wipes so they don't have the alcohol in them anymore (it's too harsh on sensitive skin), patting her bum with a wet cotton ball instead of whipping, and FINALLY the thing that worked in conjunction with the paste was a blend of essential oils rubbed on her rash each diaper change and then putting the paste on top to act as a barrier, after 1 day of doing that the rash is half as big! I'm NOT an essential oil rep, I don't have a loyalty to any one brand, but I was desperate.Read more ›

I purchased and tried almost every non-scented diaper cream, and this one is the best. It is thick so a little product goes a long way. Heals small rashes within a day.

I seem to find this product extremely overrated. My daughter had a bad diaper rash and we had been using Calmoseptine which didn't seem to be helping. I read about Triple Paste and ordered the big tub. First thing I noticed is that this product doesn't seem to create much of a barrier. Every time I'd change my daughter none of the product would be on her skin- so how is it protecting her bottom? I'm a nurse, and I take care of babies so I've seen my share of diaper rashes. I know to change her frequently and use plenty of the product so it isn't a user error problem. It's nice, creamy, and doesn't have a distinct smell, but I think it just comes right off on the diaper once my daughter sits down. My favorite product is Desitin Maximum Strength. The minute we used that her rash cleared in 2 days. It also actually creates a barrier so I feel it protects her skin better. Desitin does smell, but I love the fact that it's still on her skin in the morning- after she's been in the same diaper for 8 hours.

This is the only product we use for our son's sensetive "tush". WE tried almost every other product and this is the only one that works for him.

I love triple paste, but discovered that they are incorrectly labeling the 16 ounce size. I just bought a ten ounce tub at the store for less money and it is the exact same size tub. Don't get tricked like I have been for the last year thinking you're getting a good deal here!

My 6 month old son had horrible, and I mean horrible diaper rash. We tried everything, but nothing worked and the diaper rash got so bad we went to our doctor. He prescribed some special cream used for burns. This special burn cream helped a little bit then as soon as we stopped using it the diaper rash returned after two especially long overnights. Then a neighbor recommended Triple Paste. We tried it and it's been amazing. It's much more expensive than the other over the counter creams but significantly thicker (thicker than toothpaste, more like a putty I would say). I have been slathering it on so I'm going through it fairly quickly, but it appears to be clearing up the raw diaper rash at a faster rate than the other products. It really does stay put once applied unlike the others which easily wipe away, so it maintains a better barrier over time. Once the diaper rash is under control I'll continue to use it and probably apply a thinner coat so hopefully my supply will last longer and be more economical. I would highly recommend this product. Like the package says, it works when nothing else does.
