Eloquent writing, fabulous guitar tone, and intricate lines throughout the recording. It is obvious that Geordie, Pete, and Chris are intently listening to one another. FANTASTIC CD!

Absoutely beautiful ...,

I just got the CD in today and, I expected it to be good.... but the trio really took me by surprise. They were *far* better than expected.
Overall, it's smooth and just beautiful. The men know how to blend their sounds without having any one instrument fighting to be heard. Geordie's skill is just impressive. He wrote most of the songs himself, with only a few exceptions. And the guitar...some of those fast runs just give me the chills. Peter's bass work really helps tie everything in. That deep sound just weaves in and out of the lead, in a smooth smooth blend. Just magical :) And Chris... some of the percussion runs just had me doing doubletakes. Whether a gentle beat or something wild, his skill stands out. |
