5.0 out of 5 stars A must read
I could not put this book down, it kept me on the edge of my seat. It took me all of 1 day to finish reading this book, because for me it was an absolute page turner. It opens up witha a bang and ends with a bang and it will definetely have you wanting to know where's the sequel. I am a avid reader of Relentlessaaron and this is by far one of his best creations. I heard so much about Relentless Aaron and his psychodrama, I just had to try it and see for myself. TRIPLE THREAT is a whirlwind ride through the lives of three very different women who are seemingly connected. Sissy Dickerson is a New York City police officer assigned to the domestic violence unit and on a daily basis, sees her share of abuse and the mockery that men make of the justice system. Sissy has abandonment issues - her father left the family when she was five years old. April Davis is a freelance writer, friend and housemate to Sissy. She is a very sensitive woman who constantly deals with the abandonment of her father through his death. And finally there is River Burlington. River is a murderess, killing more than twenty men by very sadistic means; you have to wonder what her story is.

As the body count rises, Sissy is drawn into the murders and is on a mission to catch the Pink Heart Murderer although it is out of her jurisdiction. April, needing a story that will win her some notoriety, tags along for some juicy facts. All the while River is luring them into her ruthless scheme in an effort to flush out Sissy.

The book begins with the introduction of River and immediately you are drawn in. The characterizations are three-dimensional and the detective in you will beg for you to continue reading for the conclusion. A conclusion that is plausible but shocking at best. A conclusion that will have you shaking your head and asking yourself why you didn't figure it out sooner. Relentless Aaron does a good job with the description of the settings in the Bronx; the drama, sex and murders are wild and wacky. However, what this story needs is major editing. Misspelled words and incorrect punctuations are rampant. With those corrections, I would say that Relentless Aaron has an exciting story on his hands. This is definitely not for the queasy and faint at heart.

It opens up witha a bang and ends with a bang and it will definetely have you wanting to know where's the sequel. I am a avid reader of Relentlessaaron and this is by far one of his best creations. I seen a comment posted by Ms. Flyod and was quite surprise to see that she wasn't happy with her selection. If you found the book predictable then that tells me that you didn't read the book from beginning to end, because anyone who I ever spoke with and I've spoken to many could not predict what would happen from one minute to the next. And to correct you, this book and Zane books are on two totally different levels. And Mr. Relentless keeping doing what you do ; -)

4.0 out of 5 stars A Threat Of Another Kind, July 12, 2006
This review is from: Triple Threat (Paperback)
In New York, the city that never sleeps, tension mounts as the body count rises. A murderer is on the loose...

A serial killer with her own brand of justice. A police officer sworn to uphold the law. A journalist looking for a story to launch her career. Three very different women. One common denominator; a common denominator that could destroy each of their lives.

Relentless Aaron has created an electrifying thriller - a story filled with chilling suspense and graphic details. Triple Threat is definitely not for the squirmish as some of the scenes are pretty gory and disturbing. It's a novel you'll be likely to think/talk about for a long time.

5.0 out of 5 stars Looks can be deceiving, review by Sisterhood Book Club, December 14, 2010
By
In the blood thirsty tell of "Triple Threat" by Relentless Aaron there's a killer and her name is River aka The Pink Heart Murderer comes into play. The red fluid flows with the body counts of men adding up in body bags in pieces. River is a full blooded killer that gets her rocks off by making her victims feel the pain of death. She has a technique to her killing it wasn't just taking a gun out and shoots, River would feed the victims to animals, sew them into little pieces, and blow their brains out but this was after she would have relations with each one.

Sissy is a police officer of New York on the beat in the Bronx along with her partner Maritza. They patrol the streets and find themselves going on many domestic calls a day. For the both of them it's hard enough in the streets but coming back to the office is harder then ever. Sissy finds herself totally unbalance with the sexes of the men's in the same uniform that finds her not worthy to serve and protect just because she's a female.

April is a reporter and best friend of Sissy that always has Sissy back to make her look good. So when there's a great story out there to print that has something to do with Sissy beat on the street she's there to write it up. With all the write ups Sissy inherits a gentleman/admirer that delivers baskets to her door. One day April walks up and there he stands in the flesh. Once April finds out exactly who this person is she takes advantage of Sissy admirer with consequences that she will pay for later in the court of law.

Relentless Aaron does his research to tell a smashing, deep detail, bloodshed, squirming and laughing out loud story of three ladies that comes to life right off the pages. His writing is strong with passion that keeps the pages turning.

Relentles Aaron attacks this novel like a champion boxer defending his own title! "Our honor" has graced the literary kingdom once again with this suspenseful, ruthless and cunning psycho drama "Triple Threat". Relentless wastes no time sending the first punch in chapter one, which commanded my attention immediately. Needless to say I read the book in one day.
April, River and Sissy are the stars in this book. Their story of murder, sex and identity problems will have you on the edge of your chair. (No plot give-a-way here!) You will laugh at times and other times you will gasp at some of the things these torched souls do, but by the end of the book you will understand what links these women together. A job will done.

4.0 out of 5 stars Triple Twisted!, August 19, 2004
This review is from: Triple Threat (Paperback)
The imagination of this author will have you talking to yourself. The book itself was a good read. The character(s) in this psycho mystery novel have some serious issues; issues that will make you continue to read this book to the end. It was comical (made me laugh out loud SEVERAL times), yet at the same time it crossed some areas in life that are taboo. Kudos to Mr. Relentless Aaron for a job well done. The editing needs improvement (that's the only thing that drives this rating to a 4 instead of a rating of 5). The content and theme were original, unlike anything I have ever read before. If you want a book that will twist, tease and entertain your brain - this is your book. The book is pure psycho!
