About the Author
Dr. Stephanie W. Weeks is the author of the recently published novel Triplex Coniunctio, volume one in a series called The Witch War Histories. The next novel is due this year. Dr. Weeks' books incorporate the power of magic and prophecy in a modern setting, where ancient grudges and obscure writings can lead to open conflict between the witches of today. From the depths of the past, arcane power bubbles to the surface of our world, as Dr. Weeks shows us how the reality of contemporary life can be ripped open by the furor and inexorableness of primeval forces. Her protagonists seek to mend the rifts and heal the hurts of the two worlds, visible and hidden.
Dr. Weeks received her Ph.D. in social psychology from NC State University, where her work focused on the inequities of the death penalty. Triplex Coniunctio is one of those special books I intend to read again and again. I can't wait for the remainder of the trilogy.The Peytons and Solons are people I definitely enjoyed meeting. They welcome the reader into their homes and lives, and the reader's life is enriched. Excellent work, Dr. Weeks!
