I purchased the Tripp Lite model B004-DUA2-K-R-2 less than 1 year ago. The original unit didn't work at all. Tripp did agree to sent a replacement free of charge.

The replacement unit worked intermittently, and occasionally had to be unplugged for awhile before it would work correctly. In less than 1 year it finally stopped working. Tripp has issued a return authorization, freight to be paid at my own expense and is not reimbursable.

Instead of investing additional freight costs, I'll be investigating different manufacturers. IO GEAR and ATEN look promising. (I understand IO Gear and Aten are affiliate companies.)

I went through a period of trying one KVM switch after another to find one that would switch between two Macintoshes. This one couldn't do it, although TL techies tried mightily to make it functional by phone. It may work for PC's; I don't know. Good company, but product not ready for prime time.

The cables supplied with this do not work with Mac. Macs use Mini DVI to DVI and these cables are DVI-D. This a very hard adapter to find, even Tripp-lite doesn't make it. The trade off is buy DVI cables but then the audio doesn't switch. This is too bad because the switching is great and event the non std mouse signals work. It would be very easy for Tripp Lite to offer, even for a cost, Mac adapters
