I used these to replace some older self-made cables that stopped coming up on my switch as gigabit links. I was out of cat6 bulk cable so decided to give these a shot instead of buying another spool. So far, they're working great. Everything came up gigabit as it should. Length was consistent between all the ones I bought. Price was very good compared to local rip-off stores (really "big box" stores - stop complaining you can't stay in business if you're going to jack these items up 400%. If you're $2 more, fine, but if you're 4x the price you deserve to shut your doors for ripping people off.)

As always, great quality cables from Tripp Lite. Don't go cheap on your NIC cables, tracking down a cable problem can be very tedious and unnecessary. These are top quality and well shielded CAT6 cables. Gauge of wire is substantial.

Needed to attach a few more devices thru an 8-port switch, and needed both short and medium length ethernet cables. Have used several brands in the past, including Belkin, Tripp Lite and "no-names". Tripp Lite is heavier duty (both the exterior insulation and the internal wires) and the snagless connectors are great quality. Wouldn't use any other brand at this point!

I bought this cable to add a run from my N-router to my streaming Blu-ray player. It was important to me to find a quality cable that also had good shielding avoiding any noise issues or potential signal bleed from the N-router itself.

The cable works fine but it is impossible to get the end out after it is stuck into a piece of equipment. I was certain I was going to break something the first time it was removed.

Now I carefully hold and brace whatever the cable is stuck in like a router and have to jigger the cable head back and forth until it suddenly releases and pops out with a jerk.

I would not buy this cable again. I just know I am going to break the router trying to get this cable out of it.

This is a standard Cat6 ethernet patch cable utilizing a snagless end. This is the better of the two snagless designs where it keeps the snap tab from catching on other wires but does not cover the tab. This makes it easy to remove from the ethernet jack from the computer.

Overall a great product and cheap as chips.

That it works is the important fact. This is the first I have encountered the "Snagless" connector and I think it is a nice improvement. The ones that cover the clip just make it harder to fasten and unfasten. This protects the clip while not interfering with its use.

The cable arrived in good condition, and the connections are solid. The snagless portion is two wedges on either side of the clip for the RJ45 connection. I would prefer a more robust clip/snag protector, but overall this is a good cable.
