This is a pretty cool little charger. It has a very long cord on it, so you can get to the USB ports on a tower that sits on the floor very easily.

I was confused about how the red lights on the thing worked, and couldn't find any information. But after observing the charger in action for a while it was clear that the lights go out when the charge is complete.

Quick charge takes a few hours to charge two AA batteries, a bit longer for the AAA.

I have purchased this recharger because I have a bluetooth travel mouse with my laptop. It goes through batteries like crazy.

Pros: This recharger at least allows me not to worry when I am on the go and need my AAA batteries recharged.

Cons: The plastic lid is not holding secure and always trying to fall off.

My beef or complaint with Tripp Lite IN3006CG Notebook/Laptop Rapid Recharger for AA & AAA Batteries USB LED:

The Tripp Lite IN3006CG Notebook/Laptop Rapid Recharger for AA & AAA Batteries USB LED sat there with it's red indicator lights on for DAYS. Nothing got charged. I sent the first one back thinking we had a faulty model. A second model was sent to me, and it did the same thing. What really fried my beans was the fact the thing did not come with directions of any sort.

One Amazon.com user put up some directions as he or she figured out to use a model, but that is just really shoddy on behalf of the manufacturer not to enclose directions of any sort in the package.

I sent both models of Tripp Lite IN3006CG Notebook/Laptop Rapid Recharger for AA & AAA Batteries USB LED back to Amazon.com for a refund. Good riddance!
