Good Patch Panel
We are using this patch panel in our office without problems. Installation into our rack was easy with included hardware and there were no dead ports. It also came with some twist ties and brackets for wire management. Not much else to say really, it works and it isn't expensive.

Poor engineering design
We had a problem with this product after we completed the termination of 4 of these panels. The individual sections of each panel are designed to be able to remove them if necessary. Those individual sections however also have a point in the middle where the click together to hold the front and back assemblies in place. All of the units we installed had a point of failure...

We had a problem with this product after we completed the termination of 4 of these panels. The individual sections of each panel are designed to be able to remove them if necessary. Those individual sections however also have a point in the middle where the click together to hold the front and back assemblies in place. All of the units we installed had a point of failure along that separation line, which caused intermittent network and voice connections throughout the space. Anyone that performs network cabling installation will attest to how frustrating intermittent connections are to troubleshoot, so we will never use this patch panel again as a result.
