The power strip I received looks a little different than the one pictured. The picture doesn't even show the whole thing but I can still tell. Maybe the model has been updated? In any case, I did not realize the cord comes out of the front face (the side with outlets). I was expecting/hoping it to come out of one end, as most other power strips seem to do. The included mounting hardware is a nice touch, but I've yet to try it out. Overall it seems to work but it's not exactly what I was expecting.

It works as advertised and fits neatly behind the desk. If you need more outlets, there's a 12 plug version available that's even longer. The outlets do run down the strip though with the ground facing the next opening so there's still the potential for a bulky adapter to overlap another spot if it's fairly large. I didn't have any large adapters to see if it would really be a problem, but it might be worth considering if you have several devices and are trying to decide between the 8 and 12 versions because it's possible to lose a few openings. The extra long cord is perfect and the unit itself is a nice dark brushed aluminum (which may not matter if you're putting it out of sight). The plastic casing around the on/off switch is a nice touch to help avoid any accidental bumps. This model comes with the electrical cord attached unlike some of their others which have to be done manually.

It really works well under a desk and the outlets are spaced well to accommodate various sized plugs without interfering with each other. The switch is covered so it doesn't accidentally get turned off. The metal construction is light and it comes with mounting hardware.

The construction is solid, protection on the switch against accidentally turning the strip on/off. Long cord (love this) heavy gauge, plenty of space between inlets. Next time i will buy the one up with more outlets. (one with more outlets for the regular plugs and one with less outlets for the bricks).
This product is an incredible convenience.

This power bar is pretty good, but loses a star from me because of plug orientation:

Pros:
- good quality
- nice mounting hardware included
- lots of plugs

Cons:
- Orientation of the plugs is wrong. It is such that your AC adapters will interfere with the next plug. Many people will buy this device to plug in a lot of wall wart power units, and they can get in each other's way. I would rather the plugs were rotated 90 degrees so that I could use ever outlet on the bar.

Obviously the reason to get such a big bar is to have enough space to put the wall warts, otherwise we would buy one of the much more commonly available smaller units. This one doesn't quite solve the problem. Still an improvement. The only brand I have seen that have the correct outlet orientation are Prime 12 Outlet Power Strips, but they are poorly reviewed.

Excellent quality! Sturdy metal case and 15' long cord. Built in 15A breaker/power switch. Easy mounting to a workbench or any flat surface. Made to be used in a tough environment, but affordable for the homeowner. Built to last.

IT's made by TRIPP LITE, that ought to tell you how good it is. Love the two that I bought. Only wish they made one with individual outlet switches!

This was the perfect strip for an under-table construction setup. Well built, durable and good to mount under a conference room table for visitors to plug in laptops and or phone charges. Comes with mounting hardware and stays in place tight and secure.

i would buy it again. I mounted it on the side edge of a work table. Very adaptable. Works well.

This outlet strip is well constructed and the outlets are spaced to handle larger AC/DC power supplies used with drill motor chargers etc.
