Industrial-Strength Output Power
The PV2000FC efficiently converts DC power from a vehicle battery into 120V AC power for any type of equipment, from heavy-duty drills, saws and pumps to computers and sensitive monitoring equipment. The PV2000FC provides safe, stable, AC output power to help connected equipment perform at its peak. A frequency control feature ensures that devices dependent on tightly regulated AC line frequency, such as computers, VCRs and DVD/CD players, receive clean computer-grade power.
Extended Peak Surge Power
Many tools, appliances and printers require extra power for start-up. Others, such as refrigerators and pumps, have fluctuating power demands. The PV2000FC accommodates these peak surge demands by providing up to 200% more output power than its continuous rating of 2000 watts. In OverPower mode, the PV2000FC can deliver 3000 watts for up to an hour, providing ample reserve power to keep tools and equipment running longer. In DoubleBoost mode, it can deliver 4000 watts for up to 10 seconds to support power-hungry equipment start-ups and motor cycling requirements.
Diagnostic LEDs
The PV2000FC features two sets of diagnostic LEDs to indicate load level (high, medium and low) and battery charge (high, medium and low).
Automatic Overload Shutdown
To prevent damage to the inverter and connected equipment, the PV2000FC will shut down automatically if an overload is detected at the inverter outlets. The red Load Level Indicator LED will flash to alert you that an overload has occurred.
Efficient and Safe for Batteries
With its 90%+ efficiency rating, the PV2000FC maximizes battery performance to run connected equipment longer. It also features a Load Sense (battery charge conservation) setting to prevent overtaxing your batteries. An automatic low-battery shutdown feature ensures you'll always have sufficient battery power available to start your vehicle.

The PV2000FC features integral mounting slots for permanent installation on any rigid, horizontal surface, such as the bed of a pickup truck. Connecting the PV2000FC to your battery system is quick and easy with readily available, user-supplied cables. AC power is provided to connected equipment via two standard 5-15R receptacles on the front of the unit. The PV2000FC is also equipped with an RJ45 port for connection of an optional Remote Control LED/Switch Module (Tripp Lite model APSRM4), enabling you to control and monitor the inverter from virtually anywhere within a vehicle.

I purchased this unit for my new truck so I didn't need to un-install the inverter from my other truck. I am running this unit off of two six volt golf cart batteries run in sequence to get 12 volts. I have the batteries charging from my main battery with a constant duty silonoid between them. I installed the remote switch for it and I love this set up. I can leave my inverter on overnight and even though it will drain the golf cart batteries, it does not affect my main truck battery. I can even run my Lincon 140 welder from this inverter. This is the best deal that you will find!

I purchased this for my work truck. A co-worker also has one on his. They work great. So far we have had no problems with them. I ran 25 feet of two gauge wiring from battery to inverter. I ran about 5 feet of two gauge for ground. Our truck's are diesels and have two batteries. My co-worker left his on the other night and it ran the batteries dead. The load adjust function seams to work, but not real good when set to the least sensitive setting.
