When my eight-year-old UPS recently failed during a power fluctuation, I assumed it was time get a new one. Later, though, I learned about these replacement batts and decided to give one a try. It's a simple remove-and-replace operation. Switch the unit off and unplug it. Remove a couple screws to open the housing, and disconnect two wires from the old battery with needle-nose pliars. Connect the new battery and carefully reassemble the unit. It takes five minutes.

This genuine replacement battery restored my Tripp-Lite UPS to its original condition. Don't wait for yours to fail like I did. Install one of these new batteries every five years or so.

These batteries are a perfect replacement for my Tripp-Lite SmartPro UPS. The only problem I had was removing the old batteries.

I thought sub $1000 UPS's were disposable objects, but after having several fail that were still fine and just had dead batteries I decided to try replacing them. I have a Tripplite unit and replacement was trivially easy. One screw and four slide on terminals later I had new batteries for less than half the cost of a new unit. Recharging took overnight and now I am using it again.

I have not done any load testing to verify that there is a greater life with the new batteries, but it has brought me down softly during several power failures since then (we live in the country and have frequent outages).

I heartily recommend this product with the only caveat being that you need to dispose of the replaced batteries properly and that can be non-trivial if your local dump does not handle them.

The batteries worked fine...were direct replacements for the old one...seemed to be the same exact batteries. They were easy to change and are working fine.

Excellent price on replacement batteries for Tripp Lite UPS. It was easy to slide out the old batteries, disconnect the 3 cables, connect the cables to the new batteries, and slide them back in. I plugged in the Tripp Lite and charged it overnight and it is working like new.

I never dealth with Lead acid batteries before and the were easy to install. The toughest part was removing each of them from their very secure packing in each box.

FOR YEARS I HAD A TRIPP LITE BATTERY UNIT TO NOT ONLY PROTECT MY COMPUTER EQUIPMENT BUT TO ALSO ALLOW ME TO EXECUTE A NORMAL SHUTDOWN IN THE EVENT OF A POWER OUTAGE. AFTER SEVERAL YEARS THE BATTERIES FINALLY GAVE OUT AND I HAD TO REPLACE THEM. REPLACING THEM WAS SIMPLE AND EASY TO DO. WOULD RECOMMEND THIS UNIT AND ASSOCIATED BATTERIES FOR PROTECTING YOUR COMPUTER EQUIPMENT TO EVERYONE THAT HAS A COMPUTER...

The batteries are super and work fine. Shipment was fast and price was very reasonable.

This is a review of the web provider Bluegrass Battery listed on the Amazon site. I ordered two Tripp Lite RBC52 replacement batteries for my UPS (recommended by manufacturer). Bluegrass offered the best price. After more than two months, two wrong shipments and their return, and many emails, I finally have confirmation of a refund, less $13 for shipping and handling. The second battery shipment they insist was what I ordered according to their stock numbers could not fit upright in the battery compartment, was 2 Ah less in capacity, and required custom rewiring. This is what they insist is the correct replacement.

They advertise their UPS units as having user replaceable batteries and they sell the user replaceable batteries. Email them on how to connect them, they will tell you NOTHING, policy from the the President!! Spineless management won't stand behind their own products, because their afraid of liability. Can you imagine if car makers took the same approach, they wouldn't provide you with an owners manual!!
