We have bought a fair amount of these units for network closets in various buildings. They seem to work well and the management cards seem to give us a good handle on the UPS status.

Our favorite feature is that there are basically 3 breakers within the unit you can plug devices into. With the management card you can cycle or turn on/off any one of these breakers remotely, which is fantastic for rebooting gear through the network.

The only complaint so far is that the front panel isn't super clear. When you plug in the UPS and hit the power button several lights come on. You then have to hold the power button for several seconds in order to start providing power to devices. Its not a big issue once you are used to it, but it was less than straightforward for first time users to power the unit up.

This was recommended to me by a certified electrician who has used them, unfortunately the volume level of the fan is so high that this needs to be in a separate room or machine room. There is no way of changing it.

This is a great double-conversion UPS system for critical server, network and telecommunications equipment. This unit converts raw incoming AC power to DC, then re-converts output back to completely regulated, filtered AC output. It is particularly suited for locations that have brownouts. It is a rack mount, but can be mounted vertically. You will need the stand which is purchased separately. Also, it requires a 20A plug receptacle.
