Nick Choo was born and resides in Malaysia. Apart from his writing work, he is an avid cartoonist and composer, and enjoys playing the piano, violin and the occasional guitar. He was only seventeen when TRIPPERS was written. Nick lives in Petaling Jaya with his family, where he continues work on his next horrifyingif not horriblenovel.

A fun and freaky romp!,

This is a very interesting first novel written by a young author, who was only 18 when he finished the book. TRIPPERS is described as a farce of haunted-house novels, and this is quite evident through the course of the narrative, where everything dark and macabre has a cynical and jokey edge to it. In the midst of the weird goings-on in the house, there are other anecdotes told by the characters, which add to the depth of the storyline, all the way up to its freaky conclusion. I recommend this book if you're looking for a humorous, 'lighthearted' horror fest... it may not be perfect, but it's FUNtastic. Cheers.
