a great album,

Spirit of the west are a truly great band and this album shows why. It is one of Canadian music's finest albums. Though difficult to find,"Tripping up the stairs" is a classic record. It was also their final "real" celtic sounding album. After this, they went much more pop. Nevertheless, this album is one you must own. I would also reccomend "Old material 1984-1986". Or, if you can find it, their self-titled vinyl only debut. If you pick up those three you will be pretty much set.
