This is a nicely designed adapter that handle multiple plugs from either end (not all adapters do this). It is unfortunate that people do not undertsand the difference between an adapter and a transformer, and cannot read the labels on electrical appliances. If something is rated as 110/120V and you use the adapter to plug it into a 220/240V source, one should not be surprised to see smoke. Transformers are bulkier and more expensive, but not needed for most electronics whose power supply will handle 110/120/220/240V. If unsure, READ THE LABEL.

China is a country that has various different electrical outlets depending on the region of the country traveled. The Tripshell Travel Adapter offered the use of electricity as we traveled from region to region for the past month. It is easy to use and to carry.

After reading the reviews, I decided to order the adapter with the Amazon for my 10 day trip to Paris and London. I was extremely pleased with this product. I used it to charge my camera's battery and phone every night and it worked beautifully. I highly recommend this adapter and the price is a steal! Get it! You won't be disappointed.

I took this surge protector with me to China, where I was working for 6 weeks. It was just what I needed: it was a surge protector, and allowed me to plug in all of my devices (laptop, cell charger, and phone battery charger). It has 4 different types of plug adapters too, so I can't wait to try it in another country!

Works great, all-in-one so you don't have to keep track of different pieces, If you travel overseas you will definitively love this adapter.
It is also safe to use since it has a built-in fuse.

This works as advertised. I plugged in all kinds of electronic devices while traveling in Europe and they all worked. This includes and iPad, iPhone, Blackberry, and laptop.

I purchased two of these for a recent trip to the UK - one worked reasonably well (got some arcing - not good, but it still worked) and one failed immediately upon use.

These things are pretty long, and if you hang a battery charger on the end, the entire device (adapter + whatever is plugged into it) will tend to droop. This was the case in every wall socket I used them in during the trip.

They are versatile devices however, but again, seemed a bit flimsy.

I own a much more expensive Tumi version. This one is not only 1/3 of the price, but it also works almost as well. The main drawback is that prongs tends to get stuck while moving back and forth. It will take some hand dexterity to move them.

It is made of more flimsy plastic than Tumi, but these are functional devices. They are not made for elegance and beauty.

This has the standard 120v 2 prongs, rounded 220-240v 2 prongs as well as the 3 angular prongs. It can also accept inputs from all types of electrical cord. In other words, you can use this in any country with any consumer electronic device. It also has a builtin fuse that should, at least in theory, protect your electrical devices such as a laptop computer whenever there is an electric surge.

It also has a voltage range of 100-240v and that covers practically 100% of consumer electronic devices and all nations provide electrical voltage within that range. Most likely, you will not need a separate electric converter to use your consumer electronics device.

If you are looking for a good functional adapter that can work in any country, these are a good buy. Just make sure you have strong fingers to set the prongs loose when needed.

Im not sure why but TR-Adap-BK Travel Plug Adapter worked only once. After that we tried few times to pluged in again with no results. Right now its not working at all. So Im not happy with this product at all.

If you travel too much you need this product, it's a very good adapter and works in many countries. Buy and enjoy.
