Since it's release, the Triton Precision Router has received accolades around the world. Reviews of the Triton Router in woodworking magazines have been unanimous in their praise. The only negative was the fact that Triton Template Guides were not available. Ever responsive to the needs of their customers, Triton has introduced a Template Guide Kit for the Triton Router. To allow for different sized router bits and templates, seven different forged, machined and plated brass guide bushes are provided. The guides are ventilated to optimize dust extraction performance of the Triton Router. The Triton Template Guide Kit (TGA001) includes a mounting plate, a spacer ring which raises the standard guides for through-table use, an alignment bush which also enables the use of Porter Cable Template Guides, plus seven popular-sized template guide bushes for lettering, custom-made templates and for use with dovetail jigs. This product was listed on your web site as linked to the Triton router I bought. It isn't. It only fits the bigger Triton router and I found this out only after trying to make it work for two hours. Finally, I called the Triton service department only to be told that they had advised Amazon of the Amazon error several times. They kindly sent me the correct templates FOR FREE. Amazon, clean up your act.

After many go-rounds with Triton Customer Service, I decided to try their bushings for use in the 2-1/4 HP router. As it turns out, you can also use your Porter Cable bushings using the parts supplied in this kit. I just wish Triton had made that clear at the outset. I would have saved a lot of time.
