This book is what it says - a great guide (and history) of the Triumph Spitfire and GT6. I've met the author personally, and his employment at Standard-Triumph in the '60s gives an unusual insight into the inner-working of the company and the design evolution of these great little sports cars. This is NOT a restoration guide or manual to restore your car, but a great reference guide to periodic model changes and details that will help you - if that's your reason for seeking out a Spitfire/GT6 book. There is a restoration chapter, but it's not comprehensive and shouldn't be thought of as such. Still, a great book covering racing history and development that will be sure to please.
