5.0 out of 5 stars Cornhole review
This is a great set!! While it's not the traditional 2' x 4' size, I prefer this smaller one at 2' x 3'. It is portable so that makes it great although I'm not sure how long the velcro closures will last. It's a plain wood finish which makes it great to decorate with your own stickers. Overall, very glad I purchased it!

2.0 out of 5 stars Poor Quality for $80
For $80 I expected much better quality than what I received. The boards are not wood, the bean bags are nylon, and the legs cannot be considered steel. Or if they are some grade of steel, the screw that holds them in place should be a little more heavy duty.

We played this game all weekend while tailgating, and we were playing in a concrete parking lot,...

I purchased this game for a large BBQ party and it needed to be a good quality game that didn't cost a small fortune. The Triumph Sports Bag Toss gave me what I needed and wanted - for the most part. I think the game boards are well made and the bean bags are too. They didn't look cheap either. I have two wishes: 1) that the boards could be folded in half so as to take up less space, and 2) that it came with a carrying case. I am otherwise happy with my purchase and am enjoying my new game.

For $80 I expected much better quality than what I received. The boards are not wood, the bean bags are nylon, and the legs cannot be considered steel. Or if they are some grade of steel, the screw that holds them in place should be a little more heavy duty.

We played this game all weekend while tailgating, and we were playing in a concrete parking lot, so maybe it holds up a little better on grass. The light, cheap board would bounce off the ground slightly after being hit. After enough hits (like 5), the legs had to be re-adjusted as they would start to retract. Sometimes the legs would just bend in after being hit and you had to set them both back up. It's not like this is hard to do, but it shouldn't have to be done for an $80 set. After about a day and a half of tossing, one of the boards developed a crack along the side paneling in the middle, we tried to jam things under it for some support, but it never really worked the same. It didn't ruin the game, but it stinks having one side of one board having a completely different bounce than the other.

I would deal with all this for a cheap $30 set, but at $80, you're better off spending another $20 and getting a real wood set that will last a lifetime. If you do buy this set, make sure you plan on playing on grass or at the beach.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good Set at a Decent Price, April 28, 2011

Pros:
- Clean look and solid feel to the board
- Bean bags look good and feel durable
- Plain wood surface allows for personaliation with stickers/graphics
- 2' x 3' size is a great middle sized versus the smaller (harder to hit) and larger (2' x 4' harder to transport) styles
- Good price to value compared to other sets

Cons:
- Legs are a bit flimsy. After a few uses, one leg is a little wobbly. I can see having to repair/replace a leg or two ar some point.
- Lack of a case leaves the surfaces exposed to potential damage (scratches/gouges/dings)
- Lack of carrying case with a shoulder strap can make the set hard to carry for long distances or for people who are short.
- Questionable durability of the velcro that keeps the boards together.

Conclusion:
- Overall it is a very good looking and solid set, especially for the price.
- The entire family loves playing!

4.0 out of 5 stars Fun product, January 5, 2011

Our family loves this bean bag toss game. The legs could be a little sturdier (we've repaired them once) but the wood boards have a little give in them and play much better than the plastic, stiffer boards. My only real complaint is that it is not shipped in a packing box. We sent one to my parents for Christmas and the board was cracked on arrival. It's easy enough to get a replacement and return set up, but I think better packaging would prevent damage and resulting aggravation.

1.0 out of 5 stars Cheap! And bags won't stay on the board, October 12, 2011
This review is from: Triumph Sports Bag Toss (Sports)
This set is not well made, and it's impossible to get a point by having a bag stay on the board. The board plus the material of the bags aren't appropriate for this game & the bags slide right off. Look for a different set - this one is definitely not worth the money.

1.0 out of 5 stars Terrible and Disappointing!, January 17, 2012

This review is from: Triumph Sports Bag Toss (Sports)
I am so upset that this game is so impossible to play. I got it for my Dad for Christmas because we love to play lawn games like Ladder Golf and Washers. I love cornhole/bag toss and have played it at friends' houses before. Unfortunately THIS game is not made to be played the correct way. The board is SO slick as well as the bean bags, so they just slide right off the board. The only way to play is if you get it in the hole every single time. So ridiculous! We even just SET a beanbag on the top of the board to see what it did and it just slid all the way off the board. You should be able to get the bean bags on the board and get points for it being on the board, not just in the hole. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS ITEM WHATSOEVER! If you are expecting to actually play this game the correct way and enjoy it then look elsewhere. This is a complete waste of money. :(

2.0 out of 5 stars Not Worth $80.... buy another one, August 9, 2011

This is definitely not worth the $80 spent on it. In fact, after one BBQ's worth of use - it's been sent back to amazon. The beanbags are extremely lightweight, as well as the materials that the board is made out of. This item should be priced in the $30-$40 range. In essence, I sent it back and am building my own.
