Excellent historical information
While it was disappointing to see that the photos and text in the book are poor copies, the information it contains is really priceless, especially if you own a TR6. While it was disappointing to see that the photos and text in the book are poor copies, the information it contains is really priceless, especially if you own a TR6. It has enough comparisions and detailed descriptions that if you're restoring one, or keeping one running the references here are very valuable.
Also the contemporary magazine reviews are an historical novelty. It's wonderful to see how the critics recieved the six. Like all great cars of the '60s and '70s, the critics had no idea they were sitting on a classic. If you can get over the poor type and photos, you'll certainly appreciate the substance.
