True to its title, TRIUMPHANT, the upbeat and inspirational project was recorded live at Higher Living Christian Church (formerly New Birth South), the Atlanta-based ministry where VaShawn has been minister of music since 2007. The progressive, urban styles of the southern metropolis can be felt throughout the album; however VaShawn never strays far from the sound and influences of his hometown, Chicago, IL.
"Most of the time when I record, I conceptualize the project as a total piece," VaShawn reveals. "With this album God gave me the concept and I started thinking about why we are triumphant people."

This Is A Must Have CD From Vashawn Mitchell. He Did An Excellent Job On This Project As He Did In His Other 2 Releases. I Love All The Songs On This CD Especially Nobody Greater, Conqueror, Chasing After You, You Reign, His Blood Still Works (Lisa Page Brooks), Be Fruitful, Triumphant, And Now Be Restored. Every Song On The CD Has A Very Good Message That Would Touch Alot Of People.

Vashawn Mitchell did things big time with this new cd. I love it soooooooooooo much. If you do not have this cd in your collection, come to the website and purchase it. You will be blessed. Every song on the cd is awesome, but Lisa Page Brooks got me on the The Blood Still Works, somebody give him praise in here, somebuh...............lol!..........glory to God.
