Miss Angie isn't a powerful force in the Christian Music scene, but her album harnesses tons of energy and power, to make it one of the more interesting Pop albums to come out last year.Songs are layered with synthesizers, heavy bass and beats, topped by Miss Angie's little-girlish vocal tracks. The lyrics are simple, but very Christian without being preachy. The engineering of the songs is excellent -- very well put together, very satisfying. Frankly, it's nice to see such a well-done electronic album released to the Christian market. Bjork she's not, but Miss Angie is a great asset to Christian music.

If you are a miss angie buff then you've probably heard here say that she's a mix of sandi Patti and Metallica. I think this is and great description of her. If you liked the last album you'll love this one. If you've never heard her bfore then take chance, I think you'll love it!!

I find it somewhat entertaining when my friends see the title "Triumphantine", they immedietly have to say it in an angelic, la-la type of tone, and when they see the title "100 Million Eyeballs", they immedietly have to say it in a grossed out, surprised type of tone. I said in a review of Miss Angie's debut, "100 Million Eyeballs"..."First of all, I will have to tell you this: don't judge people before you get to know them. Why do I say that? Because almost every person that stumbles across this album will think "What the heck is this? Miss Angie is bazzare." I know this sounds strange, but if you're in that situation, I highly recomend that you check this album out."
...So, you understand that, what I said about 100ME. If you hear the word "Triumphantine" and think it sounds like it would be a regular sounding album you'd be used to, think again. It's the other way around. 100ME has more of a alt/rock/pop sound, while "Triumphantine", well, has a genre that is a bit hard to explain. It's a wild mixture of haunting guitars, loud buzzing basses, techno-esque drum beats, sound loops that resemble toy instruments, and sweet vocals. Well, I have to say that "Triumphantine" is not for everyone. If you're interested in it, I highly suggest that you listen to the audio samples through a few times, so you will know wheather you truely like it or not. The first time I listened to the samples, I thought "Triumphantine" had the weirdest music I had ever heard in my life, but somehow I thought after a while, "ok, I'll just try it once again, and see what I think this time". To my surprise, it didn't seem so bad the second time around, and the more I listened to it, the more I got used to it.
