You'll have a chance to show your Star Wars original trilogy savvy in this trivial pursuit offering. This is a must have game for "true" Star Wars fans.

As much as I enjoy the game (thus the 5 star fun rating), I realize that there is little educational value to knowing lots of trivia about these movies (thus the 2 stars for educational value). And, even though there are multiple questions per card, you will hear all the questions if you play the game enough (thus the 4 stars for durability).

Even so, I've spent some enjoyable evenings with this version of Trivial Pursuit with friends and relatives who are also Star Wars fans.

This game is well worth the money for Star Wars junkies. A 5-star offering for a limited audience, and probably 3-4 stars for "normal people." But, like a friend of mine from college days used to say, "Why be normal?"

This is a perfect game for fans of Star Wars, especially if they enjoy trivia and Trivial Pursuit. The questions cover just about every aspect of the movie, and this makes it work well for die-hard fans and people who know the trilogy less well.

Questions range from super-easy: "Who played Han Solo?" (Harrison Ford). To difficult: "What was the last word Yoda said?" (Skywalker) To difficult for all but the best: "What was the serial number of the storm trooper uniform that Luke stole?" (TK-421) Lots of fun to play!

The design of this game is classic Trivial Pursuit, with stills from the movie in the colored sqares. Instead of round pies, though, you get pewter figurines. Part of the fun is choosing which character to be. And the pie pieces snap neatly into the bases.

My husband and I are huge Star Wars fans - hence having two different copies of the trilogy. We've both seen the movies a million times. We decided to buy this for some weekend fun - though the games don't last as long as a typical trivial pursuit game for us, we still have lots of fun. The questions range from very, very, very simple to extremely hard - I mean, I didn't watch the credits, so there are a few details which I just don't know about the actors who played minor characters.

This game is a lot of fun just to sit back and relax for a bit and to see how much you really do know about the Star Wars Universe. I wouldn't recommend this if you're looking for a serious trivia game, but if you're just looking for a bit of fun, its worth buying.

Specialized trivial games, in their defense, are difficult to construct. For a niche audience like Star Wars fans, levels of fandom vary so widely that it's hard to establish a baseline of what can be considered "general knowledge" that any reasonable player might know -- partly because it's unlikely the game's authors are big fans themselves, and partly because people who consider themselves "fans" will have widely ranging levels of obsession about the films.

This difficulty becomes readily apparent once you start playing the game; someone who has seen the movies once will find the difficulty of many questions just about right, but anyone who owns the videos and can quote favorite lines more obscure than "I've got a bad feeling about this" or "May the Force be with you" will quickly split the questions into two categories: "All to easy" and "That's impossible, even for a computer!"

That said, the designers have done about as well as could be expected with this game. The playing pieces are absolutely gorgeous, and whoever did the layout for the board has a terrific sense both of color balance and of significant scenes from the Star Wars films. The use of an electronic R2-D2 instead of dice is clever, though dice would probably be faster to roll. The box is durable (mine has survived two moves without a scratch) and the game should last a long time, provided the questions don't bore you to tears (I've answered as many as 30 without faltering) or slam you completely against a wall.

"Are you SURE that wasn't Orlando?"-a game that really challenges your Star Wars fans. I have a hard time with the Weapons/Ships category, and some of the officers are a little obscure, but that is part of the challenge. Fun Game!

I bought this game for my son who is a big star wars buff. Once he opened it up, he began to read the questions to see just how much he knew about his favorite movies. He has been reading them ever since. He has a great time with this game because his friends are also big Star Wars fans and they can sit back and talk the lingo, and now that my son has received this game, he is the resident expert in his group on this matter. It is a great game for any age. I like the movies also and was surprised to see that i knew as much as i do about the Star Wars World. If you are a Star Wars fan, you will definately like this game. Give it a shot.

All I can say about this version of trivial pursuit is...DO NOT PLAY WITH A STAR WARS GEEK! I thought I was pretty knowledgeable about the Star Wars universe myself, After playing this I felt ashamed to call myself a fan as I found out I knew almost jack squat. I just gave up trying to play against my friend and just started reading the cards.

This Trivial Pursuit is tons of fun and brings a huge challenge to anyone who calls themselves a "fan". Information covers every aspect of Star Wars from the movies to the books. Get ready to be highly schooled on the Star Wars universe.

Even diehard "Star Wars" fans will be challenged by some of these questions! The only bad thing is the annoyance you'll get from friends, who will drag it out with the big smirks and "Okay, now we're going to find out just how much you really know about "Star Wars"...."

I got this game at a great deal, and was still surprised at the bargain. It's difficult to find other card sets when you've completed your board set, so when I find one, I try to get it.

I'm not a huge Star Wars fan, so I don't know a lot of the detailed questions. But it's still a fun family game, and a terrific Saturday night activity (just add pizza) for when you want to get away from the TV.

The game pieces are quite intricate and the R2D2 random number generator is a hoot. My only complaint is that there are only four game pieces and there is no die to substitute for the sometimes-annoying R2 beeps. But you can just take those pieces from another game set. (I particularly like to use the card-holder from the Millennium Edition). All in all, great fun, but I wouldn't pay full price for it, even if it is a collectable.

Quite a treat for Episode 4, 5, and 6 fans. But true to its name, many questions are true trivia. Don't expect to ace all the questions with only casual viewing of the episodes a time or two. The use of an electronic R2D2 to generate each player's die roll is clever. - WRS
